Enable Hardware Acceleration in the Project Settings. Enable Mult rendering if it is not enabled already. you cant descale in topaz i dont think, and even if you can theres no point, if you want it to be 4k, it would be better to export in 1080 and upscale, because it wouldnt take aslong as if you exported in 4k and topazed it while it was 4k
Topaz isn't using all of my gpu resources, exports and renders take super long. RTX 4070 ti Super 16gb VRAM. No more than 3.5gb of vram used and 35-50% gpu utilization when exporting. I'm on the latest topaz video ai version.
I'm not quite sure why but Topaz relies on CUDA cores, which might not show up in standard GPU usage metrics. select CUDA in Task Manager. Also, keep your GPU drivers updated, adjust VRAM settings, and limit parallel tasks

If you're planning to share it on social media, I suggest using AVC (H.264) .ProRes while preserving high quality, tends to have larger file sizes and isn't ideal for the final render in this case.

Hey, the issue is that your composition size doesn't match your video resolution. In After Effects, press Ctrl + K to change the resolution to double, or in Topaz, you can reduce the scale by half.
@subarist193 It is. It aims to improve video quality by reducing compression artifacts, especially since TikTok and Instagram max out at 1080p. It makes a huge difference to edit with high-quality footage
Hey! What resolution are you using? It might be set higher than 4K, which can slow things down a bit. Also, consider updating to the latest version of Topaz-it might solve the issue. If that doesn't help, check out File/Preferences/Processing and switch the AI Processor to CPU. I hope this helps!
Thanks about ur question, maybe you are exporting the whole video and forgot to trim it, or the AI model is not downloaded and ur firewall is preventing Topaz from downloading it.
Make sure to check if your video is cropped in the topaz settings. You might have zoomed in on an area that can only show 15 seconds. Look for the magnifier icon to adjust the video length. Also, check the right side (located below the preview) to see if the preview is set to 15 seconds
Right click on the Effects Panel and deselect *Show GPU Capable Effects Only* .If the effects panel is missing you can find it in Windows> Effects & Presets.

So I learned that you needed a powerful computer for topaz. No one on any video of tutorials say that at all what the requirements are for topaz.
I've recorded this video on an old mid range computer. unless you don't want to upscale an entire movie, it should be working fine on a mid range pc.

Topazlabs' website lists the minimum requirements for their software, and you don't need a super fancy computer to run it.

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but you could try using a different MBL version, preferably an older one.
I had the same issue in the past. But what worked for me is putting the cc (magic bullet looks) on a adustment layer instead of the actual footage.

encoder should always be H265 it compresses better and maintains quality.

Yes, you can do that, but you probably won't notice much improvement in quality compared to the original, since proxies usually have lower quality.

The Instagram limit is 30fps, and that's why you may feel like it is lagging. I don't think there is a solution for that

AVI use less compression and result in larger file size, but it has a slightly better quality. Both MOV and AVI works well for this.

Because it's MOV. if you want to lower the file size, choose mp4 h264 and lower the bitrate
