Honestly after watching this, online gameplay would be so fun, imagine using a Williams and overtaking your friend who is managing redbull 😂
It won't work because it's would have to be 100%(no puasing or fast forwarding) which I guess is possible but would be boring

I had the exact same thought.
Perhaps an update in the future.
I think they can do workarounds for every issue that might arise. Like forcing a player to retire if they cause trouble or with fast forwarding they can add a voting system to fast forward and if any of the players say stop it stops.
But even not having a fast forward option I think online would be welcomed.
Perhaps a custom mode where you choose where in the championship you are who has which points, what money everyone starts with etc...
Perhaps some quick templates like a template to have all teams be the exact same so that it's a true test of management prowess.
I guess we'll see if this game has anything more to give or if the initial package is going to be it. I'm fine with either.

Imagine having your friend(or yourself) managing the team, upgrades, pit stops etc in the manager, then you go out on testing, quali, and race day just driving the car and giving feedback.
Would be loads of fun, especially if your friend isn't a good driver or doesn't like racing games, but maybe enjoys management style games.

Fun fact you can only harvest a certain amount of ers per lap so leaving it on harvest for a whole lap was a bad idea you just made him loose time by not deploying any ers at all lol you only wanna use harvest when coming from a long straight and your about to hit the brakes hard like just before the hairpins but at the apex you have to set it back to neutral or els you loose a lot of time.
