For some reason my impression was that this was a video of a 3d model of ky singing his own theme as if it was karaoke but this honestly makes a lot more sense
Through the darkest sky Groping for the light Like crying for the moon Never-ending black Forgot what I want Never felt that hard to me That's right, go forth Don't look back I can believe in the path I'm on Faith, Pride So what do I have to fear? Under the sacred briars Never stop, just go I don't care how many more scars I get Bearing a pale fire I'm going as far as I can I hope my path will be A guide of light for someone to follow The roar of the spark The dawn that burns my eyes What a strange scent Sound that comes flooding in Never-ending white Forgot what I want Is this Arcadia? I don't know what's right for the world Oh, I may have lost my way But there's no reason to doubt it now So what do I have to fear? Under the sacred briars Never stop, just go I don't care how many more scars I get Bearing a pale fire I'm going as far I can I hope my path will be A guide of light for someone to follow The roar of the spark Dive the deep blue sea, it is hard to breathe The light goes out again Never-ending road A place without color That's the world we can dye That's right, go forth Don't look back I can believe in the path I'm on Faith, Pride So what do I have to fear? Under the lonely moon In an influx of words This road shines with my colors Bearing a pale fire I'm going as far as I can To keep the glow alive Under the sacred briars Never stop, just go I don't care how many more scars I get Bearing a pale fire I'm going as far as I can It will be endless And it's not an easy journey Hoping to fill the world with all kinds of light
I hadn't fully listened to this OST yet because I genuinely couldn't abide Hashimoto's weird impression of a racist James Hetfield*, but I'm enjoying these so far. I hope official karaoke versions get released eventually, but until then keep these coming! *Yes I know that's his actual English accent, but he's been singing in English for a living for forty years yet he still sounds like he's reading off a sheet of kana. Most people speaking a second language for a living dampen their accent wayyyyy before then. Seriously don't know what y'all see in him. In War of the Spark he at least seems to go for more of a Sabaton vibe at times but he doesn't really pull it off. I'd still never listened to the full song before hearing this version.
@@TheFortySeventhPlatoon4700 If only he sounded like he understood a single word he was singing. (Also the man quivers like mad when he has to hold a note for more than half a second, which is not what somebody with "range" does.) Lots of people have range. Opera singers sing in multiple languages for a living and their range is incredible. Look I get it; I'm under the impression Ishiwatari is a big fan of the singer (Outrage has been referenced since the beginning of the series as the name of the big Gear-slaying armoury) and I bet this was a dream project for him. I just did not enjoy it at all.
@@TheFortySeventhPlatoon4700 As I've said on another video, something I hope they'll do is "classic" instrumental remixes where they do lead guitar or other instruments to the melodies of the vocals. That's the stuff what even got me into Guilty Gear in the first place, and I've spent years being upset at so few people having heard of its music, so I'm overjoyed that so many more people are finally discovering it! At the end of the day, everybody's favourite band or artist does at least one album they don't enjoy, and to me that's all this is.

These are actually the best "lyricless" versions of the songs I've ever heard. You have done some fine work Terumo.
I second this, fr the mixing on this is a lot better than the ppl who seem to just let the program do it
I try. Of course it wont be perfect for all of them, the remnants of vocals do linger through in some areas.
@@SwineAssTerumo hello, may i use this song for my video?
@@just-a-law-fan yes
@@SwineAssTerumo it'll be out in about 12 hours :)
Ky is T posing for dominance.
His hands are even making extra Ts.
Through the darkest sky
Groping for the light
Like crying for the moon
Never-ending black
Forgot what I want
Never felt that hard to me

Don't look back

So what do I have to fear?
Under the sacred briars

Bearing a pale fire

A guide of light for someone to follow
The roar of the spark
The dawn that burns my eyes
What a strange scent
Sound that comes flooding in
Never-ending white
Forgot what I want
Is this Arcadia?
I don't know what's right for the world
Oh, I may have lost my way
But there's no reason to doubt it now

A guide of light for someone to follow
The roar of the spark
Dive the deep blue sea,
it is hard to breathe
The light goes out again
Never-ending road
A place without color
That's the world we can dye
That's right, go forth
Don't look back
I can believe in the path I'm on
Faith, Pride
So what do I have to fear?
Under the lonely moon
In an influx of words
This road shines with my colors
Bearing a pale fire
I'm going as far as I can
To keep the glow alive
Under the sacred briars
Never stop, just go
I don't care how many more scars I get
Bearing a pale fire
I'm going as far as I can
It will be endless
And it's not an easy journey
Hoping to fill the world
with all kinds of light
Finally, I found like basically the true lyricless versions. Albeit I can hear something really faint in the super quieter parts
4:49 some say you can hear “easy journey” if you listen hard enough
I wish there was option to play them in game with no lyrics. After playing older versions with no lyrics it just doesn't feel right with vocals.
Do you have a tip jar?
I do have a paypal link, I do have medical bills to pay, I dont expect donations, but anything is appreciated.
nice

It’s the vocal range bro, this whole soundtrack for Strive shows it off so well
