Sorry but I cannot understand how anyone can say Thorpe park is better than towers. Unless you a fat sh*t and hate walking or care more for flat rides, Towers wipes the floor in every other way. Maybe because I’ve been to Thorpe park more times than I have towers (still been to towers around 10 times) my opinion is swayed but I don’t know, personally it makes no sense.
I think you are now the 4th American vloggger (I might of missed more) that have come over here since Hyperia has opened. Never had that many American vlogggers in a whole season let alone a few months before. Hyperia is drawing in the world. LLLFFFGGG
ONE TIP FOR ALTON TOWERS: The park is massive! Plan your day, if your not careful you can spend all of your time walking around the park rather than being on the rides. I also believe the sky ride is closed which is a transportation ride around the park. Also try not to get lost in the gardens within the valley on the way from the one side to the other! Also because Alton towers is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Alton towers cannot build any rides above the treeline. This makes for some very unique roller coasters that are low down but world class.
Honestly this video made me smile so much. I worked at Thorpe park for 2 seasons and this really brought me some happy memories! We always used to let people have another ride if they wanted on the last train or cycle! It definitely adds to the experience and what is an extra 2 minutes to your day! I’m so glad you loved this park so much. I was on the original team that worked on stealth so she is always going to be my favourite. Great video guys, I will be checking out all your others!
Great video! I didnt expect a European Vlog this soon! Hyperia looked awesome! I liked the theming on Swarm and Saw the Ride a lot as well as their names. Stealth reminded me of Kingda Ka or Top Thrill Dragster with the short layout! I really enjoyed watching this! Im looking forward to the Vlogs coming up!

I went to Carowinds for the very first time back in March (2024) and we got 17 laps on Fury, 5 of them being at the end of the night, back to back to back to back, not even having to leave the train, got the very last ride of the night. It was awesome! The ride ops there were absolutely amazing and had so much energy! Absolutely enhanced the ride experience for us! It was a crazy experience!!
Absolutely your most entertaining vlog to date. So glad you're enjoying the mix of amusement and theme park that's common over here. Rides that go hard and a bit of smoke and mirrors to boot. All the best for your trip buddy. Absolutely amazing how much you're managing to cram in.
This intro🙌🏻 Dang Hyperia looks absolutely incredible, the hangtime stall or it almost looks like a zero g stall is probably my favorite element from just watching the POVs and I’m sure the lap bar accentuates each element even more. I’m so glad you enjoyed the park! Not being able to get on Colossus gives you a good reason to come back. In my opinion, it’s a great coaster on the front row!
Hi mate, just discovered your channel - so awesome to see you guys enjoy Thorpe Park, my home park that I've been coming to since 2014. Great video loved seeing your reaction to all the coasters here, earned a sub ;)
The bonus sunset ride on Hyperia was freaking epic. I've never seen a park do that. Hyperia is a bucket list coaster for me. This is one of your best videos. I am looking forward to more content during your European trip. Cheers
I went on hyperia a couple weeks ago and left the park at 6 for an 1hr 30mins drive home and yet, I still couldn’t sleep from the amount of adrenaline. This ride is crazy!
It was great that you enjoyed one of my home parks. It's a shame that I didn't see you since I went the day after you went. Glad you're enjoying some of the UK parks so far!
When I took my daughter and her friend to Thorpe Park I bought them fast passes and they let them use them over and over instead of just once for each ride. Pretty cool park overall
I’ve been getting excited about rollercoasters after not really going for a long while and this whole video of you experiencing my home park for the first time gave me a great feeling! I’m going back to Thorpe to ride Hyperia for the first time at the end of the month (I skipped the POVs, sorry!), and you got me so excited for this experience. Enjoy the rest of your Europe trip! 😁
Bit of an update to anyone who reads this, went to Thorpe yesterday and Hyperia really is that good. I cannot believe that the UK now has a coaster like this, it’s damn near perfect. The drop is phenomenal and the outer bank, well I’ve never experienced anything like it it’s just joyous.
Thorpe Park has a great collection of thrill rides, even before Hyperia opened. Back then Swarm had the last row facing backwards which was unbelievably intense.
You're so lucky having done Hyperia!! Personally I travelled all the way to the UK to ride Hyperia only to see it closed because it rollbacked that day and now I'm not sure if I can even get back to this place at one point in my life😭😭
just found ur videos with the alton towers one ,cant help thinking that its a shame you guys didnt know about zipworld in wales, i reckon you guys wouldve loved it.
Why was i yellin with y'all when you got that 2nd run on hyperia those are the small details that make the day more pleasurable " Priceless" brilliant Vlog ya crew is kool ...
We have Shocktoberfest and some other scare fest events around the country that is quite intense. Also, Thorpe Park’s Fright Nights are awesome too, but nowadays it is too expensive to get tickets that include all the mazes, still an amazing Halloween event.
I’ve only discovered your channel recently, I love your laid back style. Thorpe Park is great, I’ve only been twice but absolutely love Stealth. Will be back in October to do Hyperia, I guess it’s pretty good 😬
I just KNEW you would find The Swarm a standout B+M wing coaster. I'd only ever been on Gatekeeper and I was like, meh. But The Swarm was like WOW, and I rode it over and over and over when I was there back in 2018. Now with Hyperia I have to get my butt back back across the pond from Toronto to ride it one day soon. Maybe next summer! Thanks for this trip report.
Such a shame you couldn't get on Colossus! It's my fave along with Swarm... sure its rough, but that corkscrew is fiiiire. I haven't been since Hyperia opened, but I can't wait to try it now! Also great customer service from the park, even when I was a kid I remember them sending us round multiple times on a ride just before the park closed. Amazing experience! 👏 Loved this vid
12:45 And half the people who only do horror nights wouldn't be able to handle UK scare mazes. Having done both, I got no scares at horror nights compared to UK halloween events.
I love watching you guys! I’m so glad you’re so enthusiastic about our brilliant Thorpe Park. So happy you got to ride Hyperia “ONE MORE TIME!” 😂. I wish I did, I had to queue up for 90 mins but it was so worth it dude! Shame you didn’t get to experience Colossus. It’s a great ride, a bit rough but the air time fab and the corkscrew is so much fun. My first ride of the park was Stealth OMG! It was just phenomenal! Unfortunately, due to queuing times, I didn’t get to ride Saw 😭and so wish I had😢. Maybe next time. Keep making your videos, I love watching you all and hearing them screams 😂. Thank you guys ❤❤
Back row on Hyperia is literally 10x crazier on the first drop than the middle or front so it's a shame you didn't get to experience that but cool video man, so glad to see you enjoying one of the best parks we have here in the UK... You'll prefer Alton Towers though, no doubt!
@CoasterDash ohhhh good! I'm glad you didn't miss out on that! It's the scariest first drop I've done up to this point, didn't help that my.first ever ride was on the back haha 😅
Easily the best ops I’ve seen. Not only did they try getting Colossus up and running all day, but that dude who was running Hyperia is a true legend. Every other place, would have called it a night. Man, I have got to get over to the UK. On a side note, I hate Steakth simply because it replaced Model World and it doesn’t help that it’s a Kingda Ka clone.
Dw you missed nothing with colossus. It’s all bark no bite and is unbearably rough in the back. Glad you loved Hyperia though it’s such a shock to have it so close to home!
theyve been known to send the final train of the day up to 3 times back to back lol - when i went around a month ago i just missed out on getting the last train experience since they closed the queue late however it certainly did not disappoint!
Missing a ride on Colossus is not a major loss, I love Sik at Flamingoland but with the classic restraints and the age of the ride Colossus beats the hell out of you. Think I probably ended that ride happy for the cred but I don't plan to ride it again, far worse than Saw (which the potholes hit pretty bad), and it ranks somewhere around Demon at SFGA as one of my least favorite rides out there.
Thorpe park are amazing for letting you ride twice! I remember going for halloween fright night and when I was on Nemesis they made us go round again we had no choice! 😂 It was great!
As someone who did get on Colossus, I found the heartline rolls to be uncomfortable and while they’re fun to laugh at, they’re just objectively bad elements. It’s probably the weakest of the 6 main coasters (I didn’t get on the B&Ms), so I’m happy that’s the one you missed if their had to be one.
The best seat on Saw is generally back row in one of the middle seats, as it is least rough there. Back row is always better than front on Saw, less rough.
I did back middle to the left side and got squirted with water from the fake dead body 😂 hit me right in the eye like someone squirted a bottle at me in one spot 😂 I was so confused because no one else got hit so I asked when I got off the ride just incase it was something else other than water haha
Just wait for falcon’s flight in Saudi Arabia-640 ft tall, a 520 ft drop off the cliff, and a 519 ft humpback airtime hill. Hope you make it there next spring
You’re my favourite coaster blogger because you don’t go with the hive mind and have genuine, personal reactions to coasters - including some coasters that don’t have a great reputation. Went on Hyperia for the first time today. Rode in row 6, 8, 6 again and then 7. First ride in the morning was best. The other three rides were uncomfortably rattly. Despite the height and the speed, it didn’t feel a transcendent experience in the way The Ride to Happiness was (and I’m off to Plopsa again later this month).
Colossus is the world’s first 10 inversion rollercoaster. When you go up to Alton towers. The smiler has 14, the current record holder. You also didn’t go, from what I saw. On the walking dead ride. Back in the day an indoor in the dark backwards Vekoma. It’s still mostly in the dark in this, its third iteration. The second iteration changed it to front facing.
The shortest thrill invert (by height) is actually Nemesis at Alton Towers in England, too, followed by Black Mamba at Phantasialand in Germany, Nemesis Inferno is 98ft tall 👌
By height yes nemesis is the shortest at around 40ft, but from the top of the lift hill to the base of the loop it’s around 104ft I believe, making it slightly taller than inferno
Gutted to miss you guys in my home country! It's so weird to see people from other countries finally jealous of our lineup, like heck yes we have great coasters! 😂 Hyperia is a nice start to this trip isn't it?
I thought I'd add now that I finished the video, yeah Thorpe Park really is brilliant atm isn't it? Alton Towers used to be a clear winner for me due to the history and connection I have with it, it is very special. HOWEVER, after the slow start Thorpe had this year it has just improved and improved and it really puts a smile on my face to see you guys having that much fun there, Thorpe is in its prime again!
I used to go to school just down the road so I got a season pass, I used go in for a couple of hours almost everyday after school, I can't tell you how many times I rode colosos, it is pretty good so I don't understand the negativity surrounding it. It's been years since I've been there so I'm looking forward to trying the new rides. I'd never experienced a ride that was closed in all my times going. When I finished school I worked literally across the road from it on the marina (the biggest inland marina in Europe) and all day long I could hear the screams and click clacking of the coasters.
Went there for the first time a few weeks ago was that good went again 4 days--look forward to your other uk trips --i think thorpe park is the best in the uk then Blackpool for me

Unfortunately, due to queuing times, I didn’t get to ride Saw 😭and so wish I had😢. Maybe next time.
Keep making your videos, I love watching you all and hearing them screams 😂. Thank you guys ❤❤
Wow i was there the same day lol, glad you enjoyed Hyperia, definitely the best ride in the country
Wow I really must ride hyperia this year …looking forward to seeing your alton towers vlog !
Back row on Hyperia is literally 10x crazier on the first drop than the middle or front so it's a shame you didn't get to experience that but cool video man, so glad to see you enjoying one of the best parks we have here in the UK... You'll prefer Alton Towers though, no doubt!
@@ThemeParkLuke I actually got to try Hyperia in the back off camera. That drop is no joke!
@CoasterDash ohhhh good! I'm glad you didn't miss out on that! It's the scariest first drop I've done up to this point, didn't help that my.first ever ride was on the back haha 😅
Isn't the 10 Inversion Intamin model one of their most cloned layouts? Like, its not even the only one in the UK.
Far from rare.
We don’t have any in America 😢
Easily the best ops I’ve seen. Not only did they try getting Colossus up and running all day, but that dude who was running Hyperia is a true legend. Every other place, would have called it a night. Man, I have got to get over to the UK.
On a side note, I hate Steakth simply because it replaced Model World and it doesn’t help that it’s a Kingda Ka clone.
It’s not a king da is clone if it was built first.
Europa Park has the best operations of any park for sure
I was on The last train of the day and i got to go round 3 TIMES IN A ROW! Also i live like 10 minutes away from here so i go on it quite alot
if stealth has a rollback i assume they send the same people up again?
Swarm has that lovely slow wing overdrop
Dw you missed nothing with colossus. It’s all bark no bite and is unbearably rough in the back. Glad you loved Hyperia though it’s such a shock to have it so close to home!
Hi, would it be possible to get a full 'ghost train' pov as they don't exist on youtube other than some old ones from the old ride,
Are tou going back to Parc Astérix on this trip?
Unfortunately, no.
@@CoasterDash Ok I thought you could've since you're going to near by park
theyve been known to send the final train of the day up to 3 times back to back lol - when i went around a month ago i just missed out on getting the last train experience since they closed the queue late however it certainly did not disappoint!
The new music caught me off guard but your my second favorite RUclipsr and I enjoyed your content and how much of it there is.
Colossus is a walking headache. I loved it but hated the aftermath. Definitely a end of the day coaster :)
how are you getting to these parks so fast, unless these are old
All from the past week
I'd imagine the editing takes a while.
8:38 I’m so happy that someone else agrees that Hyperion is short but sweet. I don’t think it’s the full package but it looks very promising
Ghost Train is basically UK’s version of Monster Mansion
So just for clarification did you enjoy Hyperia or not?
😂
hello what camera do you use to record?
Just wait for falcon’s flight in Saudi Arabia-640 ft tall, a 520 ft drop off the cliff, and a 519 ft humpback airtime hill. Hope you make it there next spring
All built with slave labour... Yay
I LOVE the New Intro!
@@dhevbhogal7059 yes but regardless I’m talking about height of lift hill
You said meet you at Alton towers on the first of august but I didn’t see you all day!!!
Fun facts about Stealth, it was originally intended to be called 'The Edge' and to be a clone of Xcelerator with a Stadium style seating viewing area
I’m just surprised the other guy can hold his camera no problem 😂
Gutted to miss you guys in my home country!
It's so weird to see people from other countries finally jealous of our lineup, like heck yes we have great coasters! 😂
Hyperia is a nice start to this trip isn't it?
That outer bank turn thingy roll looks really cool
On ride: WOAHHH AHHHH THIS IS SO COOL
After ride: yeah it was fine
😂😂
Europe Trip intro be HYPE
You should go to Spain dude, check out Port Aventura, witha nice little Ferrari Land attached, and a wicked waterpark
Hyperion looks so good, might have to travel back to the UK for it
If you go to flamingo land in the UK it has the same coaster as colossus but with lapbars
Went there for the first time a few weeks ago was that good went again 4 days--look forward to your other uk trips --i think thorpe park is the best in the uk then Blackpool for me
Hyperia Mack Produkt 👍
