Super Fun Family Fishing at Misverstand Dam - Carp and Catfish (Barbel)

  • This weekend we decided to leave Montevue Nature Farm in search of a nice fishing dam. We went to Misverstand dam, near Mooreesburg in Western Cape, South Afrida. This dam is great for families, fishing and boating. We left the boat at home and focussed on fishing for carp and barbel (catfish) from the bank. For bait we used mieliebom and various floaties and mealies. Flavors like White Chocolate, Spiderman etc were successful. Lots of fish and lots of fun.
