As a Giants fan who's already seen my team beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl....there's no denying it anymore, what Brady did this season, after leaving the Patriots for whom he played his entire career, going to a new team( who would have ever guessed he'd go to the Buccaneers :-o ), new coach, new system really, endured some struggles, but they molded themselves together over the course of the season, Brady convinces the Bucs to bring in Gronk, Fournette( who got cut by the Jags if you can believe it ), and Antonio Brown( a risky move considering his most recent off-the-field issues ), they just put it all together at the right time. And Tampa's defense really elevated their play in the playoffs & Super Bowl obviously. But it was Brady that was the driving force. Took a team that hadn't made the playoffs in over a decade and got them to their 2nd title and his 7TH....incredible. There's just no denying it anymore folks....Tom Brady is the BEST Quarterback that's ever played in the league. Oh, and I think now maybe we know who was really the 'brains' of the Patriots dynasty now perhaps. ;-)
really impossible to argue but still some folks will continue to do so. I mean even when you watch his college games you wonder how nobody (including bill who waited till the sixth round) was able to recognize his talent and especially drive for the game. bill was bailed out multiple times and I never understood the famous "well bill loves to cut guys one year to early as one year to late"-thing! one year to early means you will almost always carry a big chung of dead money with you and in the salary cap era there is only one chance you survive it: you either have a transcendent quarterback or one who isn't demanding top-dollar...bill got both! then ppl argue "well he took less money so he could achieve this": I remember him restructering the contract just to see welker and others leaving town. truth is bill who many consider of being unable to be irrational got lost in the hype around him! he's a great defensive mind and both wouldn't have gone to 9 sb winning 6 of them but no doubt brady was THE MAIN REASON and it's not even close. also funny how many ppl look at bills record in 2008 when they went 11:5 totally ignoring the facts the pats went undefeated the year before (well until well you know as a giant) and how did he do in cleveland and at his first games in boston without brady?

As a Bucs fan I gotta say that this season will NEVER, be forgotten. With Brady hanging them up and throwing his last TD pass as a BUCCANEER, I am blessed to have had him here for 3 unbelievable seasons. BTW, Kansas City's only touchdown was when they landed at the airport!!! World Champions forever!! #SB55

His last year at New England they started off 9-1(off winning their 6th title the previous season)& I remember how miserable he looked during the press conferences. He knew how bad the Patriots were in the hole in the cap, & it happens when u make the moves they did after Superbowl 51. Man the writing was so on the wall the last half of that season.

@@dkoli He's probably a better athlete than he's given credit for (I remember him juking Brian Urlacher in 2006), but athleticism likely isn't the first thing that comes to mind with him. He stays in shape though, and at age 43 (no matter the more relaxed conditions of the NFL, it's still playing pro football at the highest level) to helm a champion while taking the road path through the playoffs to get to the big game, I think that's impressive.

The thing with the Chiefs though is that they usually start slowly, and in last year's Super Bowl were down to the 49ers 20-10 with 7 minutes to go. In this game they couldn't, and weren't allowed, to make one of their basketball-like runs.
just remember if the 49ers had a competent qb like any top ten guy they beat kansas city in that super bowl. garoppolo had it won and overthrew a easy td. if that was matt ryans its a game winner, if its joe burrow game over, if its arod, game over, josh allen, brady, jackson, if any of those competitive qbs who have dog in them were on that 49er team they beat kansas city in the super bowl. so patrick would only have 1 but jimmy g cares about looking good, and money he could care less about winning.

Todd Bowles should get the MVP lmao!! Todd Bowles did a hell of a job with his defensive game plan against the Chiefs but at the end of the day the Buccaneers players on defense executed the plan. You can have al the best plans in the world but it doesn't mean a thing unless you have someone/players to execute the defense. The Bucs defense also capitalized on a weak Chiefs offensive line that made the Bucs pass rush that much more intense to deal with. The Bucs defensive line got to Mahomes all game and that allowed the Bucs secondary to capitalize on Mahomes running all over the place in the backfield. Not to mention the Bucs offensive line gave Brady time to carve up the Chiefs defense. Players executing on the field is what makes the plans effective. Still I tip my hat to Todd Bowles for his defensive schemes! TB12 the G-izOAT.......Mahomes needs to take a page out of Brady's book and sharpen his game inside the pocket. It will be interesting to see how Mahomes responds moving forward from here I wish him good luck!

The bucks would have won it again the next year as they were in the NFC championship game against the Rams and winning with seconds left. They should have won that game, but the hero of this game, Todd bowles, decided to send a blitz package out against Matt Stafford who just happened to be the best quarterback against the blitz . Stafford to Kupp for the winning play. If bowls didn't blitz, the bucks would have won and went on to the super bowl. I'm pretty sure they would have annihilated Cincinnati

Yeah the Bucs D should be mvp. They held the high flying chiefs to 0 td's. Thats impressive. To get to Mahomes like that with 4 guys??? Incredible. Hell even with 5 o-line, a te and a rb and tb's front 4 still got to Pat. Doesn't say much about Kc's o-line. Kc shouldve ran the ball straight into that line on 1st, second and even third down if it was short yardage. If they committed to the run for a few series in a row then TB wouldn't of been able to rush 4 and drop everyone back. Theyd of had to put a couple more guys in the box which is all mahomes needs. They beat themselves by sticking to their bulk yardage gameplan.

D Hop has been awful against CD3. What do safeties have to do with anything? Carlton Davis has shut D Hop down every single time that they played.

Eric Bienemi made zero adjustments to offensive line protections that’s why he’s not a head coach. The line was depleted and EB and Reid refused to acknowledge reality.
