  • Cast iron cookware is made to last for generations. But despite best intentions, sometimes life happens. We’ve heard the stories about your best friend putting your prized skillet through the dishwasher, or forgetting your favorite piece by the campfire as it rains overnight. Or maybe you have a special piece of cast iron passed down from your great grandma that has seen better days. We are here to help restore your beloved cookware to its former glory. We love cast iron and we love restoring cast iron.

Brilliant, having just bought my first Smithey(#12) skillet, please remain committed to offering this service, so if my sons ever need to, your/our skillet will be able to be refurbished for the next generation. Thanks.

Would rather do it on my own with electrolysis than pay someone to destroy the beautiful, hand milled antique surface by using a sandblaster.

It's cast iron, don't pretend that it's a 2000 years old artifact. Melting them down to recast them would be fine too.

It’s what he does for Smithey, I would guess he blasts with crushed walnut shell, it would have zero effect on the iron texture
