I have read appaloosas are good as a beginner horse but I have also read that appaloosas aren’t ideal for beginners. So Im confused. Is Appaloosa good as a beginner horse ?
Hi there are 4 at my stables where I ride and two of them who I’ve ridden are absolute sweethearts! One of them is used for beginners but she spooks very easily. The other one was quite dangerous but overtime he got better and now intermediate level can ride him. As for the other 2, one of them I’ve had terrible experiences with and he is quite dangerous and would NOT be recommended for beginners and the other one I’ve never ridden as he is owned but his owner is gone so nobody is riding him but he seems sweet. Overall it’s rlly abt their individual personality but hope it helps! (Before anyone says anything this is based off personal experiences)
My appaloosas were great for beginners and professionals. I found them to be very versatile, gentle,calm, and dependable. This has been my experience from my ranch. Happy New Year everyone 🎉
