I bought this about 6 months ago with a couple of the cheaper map DLCs, but only put in about an hour or two, and I'm someone who has hundreds of hours in ATS and ETS2, so it should be right up my alley. The jankiness of pretty much everything and lack of polish is obviously the most annoying thing. The price of some of the bigger map DLC is insane too when ATS and ETS2 get much higher quality maps at a much lower price. And I know this is kind of a stupid complaint, but the fact that the only music you can play in the game is two shitty Euro-dance stations that are owned by the developers of the game makes me get bored much quicker, because it forces me to play without music. Setting up a long list of custom radio stations in ATS and ETS2 means I always have something I'll want to listen to, which makes the overall experience of the game so much better.
I have it since release on my PS5 and it's a beautiful driving game. The map expansions really add variety to the game and look better than the base game map. Poland DLC really looks good and detailed
I prefer the customized controls, and just tick the simple driving, so I can use automatic gears but still have to operate everything else. You can also zoom out to a 3rd person view when walking around too. It does lack polish but it's the best option on console right now and the DLC is over priced (and the main reason I haven't bought any yet).
Some of it looks pretty cool, like getting out of the bus, interacting with passengers and being able to click the buttons on the dash. I wish scs would add some stuff like that. Sadly this feels like they're trying to squeeze all the money out of you, scs at least does not charge you for new trucks and generally dlc's are reasonably priced. Got the main game for like 7$
I like the game normally but it has a route problem for me making a route completly yourself is hard. Anyway i learnd some things from this video thank you
The "last_ue4" version is so much better than the latest updates. in the newer versions, basically everything is broken. Now of course, that's not to say that the last_ue4 version won't have bugs and broken textures, but to be honest, the fact that it's way more smooth makes you overlook this.
From the beginning this Game has been riddled with bugs. Jerkiness is a major factor made worse if you use a head tracker , even on a SSD card. Every beta crashes and like you said the prices of the DLC's is outrageous. I'd hope after all this time it would be smooth running but it plays for me at least like an early access game.
Damn good simulator, not really a game. It's the best one on console, closest to ETS2 etc. The DLC is expensive, especially for a few busses at 20 plus bucks each add on. This is a well done simulator, but the port to PS5 etc holds it back. It still has errors and bugs, even after the patch yesterday. There are terrible slowdowns in certain areas of the maps, (fps) and still the game does crash once in a while, but they fixed the save game crash I think. Stop complaining and enjoy this simulator, it is not easy to program for PC and console without introducing bugs in one when you fix the other. All in all, I'm enjoying this addicting sim a lot. The driving and the scenery are good for a console, its not easy to replicate a PC game, and this is closest thing that we have in my opinion. ITs the gameplay and scenery that counts...and what is here is pretty good. By way man, you CAN see your character by pushing the down arrow to zoom out from your characters body when on foot, then you can see him, not just the shadow. Pretty cool.
I already have this game and you explained on the first 3 minutes of the video why i don`t play it anymore, having 2 busses and a freaky van its not acceptable to be on a stand alone game when the main thing on the game is the fucking busses, GTFO im not a clown.
