    Matlab should be a Bachelor's engineer degree.
    It is captivating and the explanation was excellent.
    Thanks for always giving us, junior engineers, the ingredients and the recipe to help us to make the greatest cake so that the Senior engineers can be jealous.

      Can you ans one doubt? pls
      in customized SVPWM, the PWM Generater takes "Vabc and Vdc" as input and we attach SVPWM after Inverse Park Transform block which gives "Valpha and Vbeta" as output so how and what to attach to SVPWM then?

    It probably would be helpful if you show how the resultant vector is comprised of adjacent vectors that vary in magnitude as the resultant vector sweeps through a sector, such that scaled vector can be added head to tail.

    I did not understand if the red means switch is off then how in the on time duration calculation it is actually the opposite?

    • @richl1949
      @richl1949 11 месяцев назад

      She intends to show you that the pink is comprised of the two red ON one at a time and soetes both off. Her animation could be clearer if she shows the duty cycle of the red vectors by their lengths, not by flashing them in time.

    • @_my_edits5548
      @_my_edits5548 10 месяцев назад

      yes, it looks like red should mean that the switch is on. Probably a little mistake?

    Can I ask, what is the effect of chosen PWM frequency on torque output driving PMSM using SVM? Do you get less torque accuracy and more torque ripple at higher speeds if you use a lower PWM frequency?

    • @MATLAB
      @MATLAB  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, at lower PWM frequencies you can expect more torque ripple. Field oriented control coupled with high PWM frequencies is an effective way to obtain accurate torque response. This discovery page provides more information www.mathworks.com/discovery/field-oriented-control.html

    Could/would you use this kind of modulation to hold the motor on a specific angle?

    • @richl1949
      @richl1949 11 месяцев назад +1

      If the motor were not moving, you just apply a stationay vector (not rotating = 0hz) that applies an equal and opposite force against the outside force that would otherwise tend to move the rotor. Move to the -Q axis (or change 180deg or just change the sign of the command) to apply force in the opposite direction. All the while, you need to track the motor's position to stay in sync with its axis (d,q) if it moves.

    • @richl1949
      @richl1949 11 месяцев назад

      You just change the sign of the Q command so the commanded vector position changes 180 deg.
