I am really amazed to hear about the rich Indian culture in Guyana...... thanks to wion for bringing Srivastava sir for such lovely conversation 👍
It really is a time warp. The commissioner nailed it. Our traditions in Guyana are of our UP-Bihar ancestors from yesteryear
Some tamil culture is there too ......
The Indian High Commissioner did a good job in explaining the Guyana India link .
In Guyana We are not Muslims or Hindus We Are Brothers We Are Indians Born In Guyana

In Guyana, Pakistanis pass themselves off as Guyanese. I personally discovered this.
Their is no pakistan Guyana connection😮
Awesome interview. Wasn't aware of the progress Guyana is making and the strong bond between India and Guyana.
My first visit to Guyana in 1990, I found wife in Guyana. 1994 my wife visit India with me. Guyanese food and food in Village of West Bengal are same. Fish, Daal, Bhaji and Boiled Rice is the main food in Guyana.
Proud guyanese of indian descent ❤ 🇮🇳
India needs to show Guyana alot of respect.Traditionally Indians have looked down on Guyanese. This caste mentality needs to stop, Guyana is not a cash cow for Indians to milk.
The whole caste culture of India makes their sudden interest in cooperating with Guyanas development very suspicious.
Yes they do I am mix Guyanese Arab and Indians look more Indian but when I meet Indian nat they think less of of me of my 8ndian blood
Up+ Bihar ❤️
So much information could be learned in such a short time listening to this talk! Compliments!
Wonderful discourse.
Mutually beneficially!
A fine example to emulate.
Jai Hind!
It's wonderful to recognize the relationship between India and Guyana. We always knew who we were...even when Gandhi was fighting for our rights. But living in Canada, Indians from India thought of us as second-class Indians but we know who we are. It runs deep in our blood, our soul.
In fifty years time when India and Guyana look back on this collaboration, each country should be talking about having made great progress not only in economic ties but in decent human interaction. Guyanese citizens should never have to feel that we Indians have exploited them. Go India!!!! HR in Guyana is like us being in the ME working for building a better world.
darlyaferoeste why do you say that? no we dont think so at all , we are very intrested in india to know more.

with all have said the contractor's them is paying workers very low salary Guyanaese still 4o % inpoverty
Can't even get visa free access to Guyana like we can get for Suriname or Trinidad. Shame on the Foreign Ministry!
My apologies. This is typical of small countries that do not want to be overwhelmed by countries with a larger population. India's population is 1750 times that of Guyana. The issue can be worked out between the Guyana Government and Indian Government.
@@DevendraMahendraSingh Do Suriname and Trinidad have very huge populations?
@@harisadu8998 obviously, no. But, unlike Guyana they aren’t worried about a major influx of foreigners due to newfound riches.
ALL DRAMAS
This is only work you have 😂😂😂
ExxonMobil is a parasite sucking Guyana dry of its oil. India was approached because India is the most trustworthy.
