Yes I have the same bag and I was so in love with it when I first got it. I would advise you to place it in the sun for about two hours you know rotated and it will get us a light color so that whenever you do start using it watermarks and stuff won’t show up
Congrats Kat! I have a petit noe too. I put the bag slightly away from the window to tan the vacheta for 2 weeks before using it. Be sure to turn the bag around (and put it on the side too) so that every part of the vacheta get exposed to the indirect sunlight. Got a nice light tan after 2 weeks and even now, whenever I take it out to use, I will leave it to tan for a few hours or couple of days. Now the bag has got a very nice honey-tan color. Love it! .. I am thinking to get the top handle for the bag.. thanks for sharing! :)

Congratulations! The Louis Vuitton Noe GM is absolutely stunning! Love the small strap as well and it makes the LV Noe gm more versatile. LVoe it and it looks so cute with the small strap.
I also give my new bags with vachetta a nice little sun bath 😉 just make sure to turn it, so it gets an even one. And before I do this, I just let it sit in my room without the dustbag for one week. And then the sun bath.
So gorgeous and classic! I love my Noe BB and the vachetta as well. I sprayed my vachetta with apple garde then let it air out for a few days before starting to use it.
@@KatL didn't seem like it changed the texture of the leather. If you decide on using it, do spray at least 6 inches away so only the "mist" instead of large droplets go on. Large droplets has caused minor discoloration for me in the past.
I love this bag sooo much I think I’m Going to ask my SA to order it - so classic And throw n go for everyday - the vachetta is beautiful and I would use apple garde but bags are meant to be used!:) Great review so glad others love this too! The neo noe is great but this is so classic :) 😘

Yeah leave it out for a week or so first to let it patina before using it and get additional hook extender to make it a bit longer for shoulder bag. Good that you got it before the price increase. I bought one earlier this year. I sat mine in the sun for several days and because we were quarantined I just carried in the house for a few months. I love love love this bag even though the vachetta scares me. I use the Samorga organizer ( Speedy 25 size) that has no pockets and it works really well.
I bought this bag about 7 months ago- I love it! I would love a short strap - I wish you could just buy them from LV as an alternative!! I had to return my first petite noe as it was missing the leather keeper on one side!! I felt the bag had been used - I’m sure it was a return that LV just shipped back out! Xx

I have the Noe , I am petite but love it! 💖 As for the “ tanning ” of the vachetta, I take my new bags out of the box and let it stand next to a window but never expose it to direkt sunlight. I make sure to turn it a few times to get an even exposure to the indirect sunlight. I leave it this way for a minimum of one week, after that , I”ll take her out. I hope this was helpful. Xoxo 😘

Can someone explain what’s the point of repurchasing after you’ve sold it? To me the point of luxury bags is if it took so long to save, you will buy the bag that you absolutely love. It seems like you’re unnecessarily losing money through buying and reselling
I agree - buying n selling sucks and we should all buy what we love. for this bag, I actually didn’t sell it. It was returned to LV after a part of the strap broke while I was using it and it was only 2+ weeks old then. I was slightly terrified of it happening again, so LV granted me an exchange. However, I always loved this bag n felt I wanted it back in my collection. So, there was no “selling” involved per se. but definitely repurchasing it years later , means I had to pay the higher price.

I did “sun” the bag for almost 3 weeks before using it. It is definitely a bag that needs more care because of the raw leather. I still love it

Can someone explain what’s the point of repurchasing after you’ve sold it? To me the point of luxury bags is if it took so long to save, you will buy the bag that you absolutely love. It seems like you’re unnecessarily losing money through buying and reselling
I agree - buying n selling sucks and we should all buy what we love. for this bag, I actually didn’t sell it. It was returned to LV after a part of the strap broke while I was using it and it was only 2+ weeks old then. I was slightly terrified of it happening again, so LV granted me an exchange. However, I always loved this bag n felt I wanted it back in my collection.
So, there was no “selling” involved per se. but definitely repurchasing it years later , means I had to pay the higher price.
