Not a hardcore fan here. But I don't understand why he retired in 2020 (may be covid?). He missed good 3 years that he could have dominated the division (may be both) and stayed the champ for a while. If not may be could have become a real triple C (UFC) had he tried 145.

I won’t disagree w Cejudo on this fight determining who the real champ/ best bantamweight is. Anyone who isn’t a Sean fanboy knows Sean lost to Yan and obviously Yan was beat by Medan and we all know if Metal wasn’t a duck up to Aljo he would’ve beat him
The Cejudo we saw fight Sterling was out of the cage for 2 years and was 36 years old, at the end of his prime in a weight division that favors the young. It’s a good idea to bet on Merab, but this fight is gonna show if Henry can prove he’s still the best. The fact he went to a draw w the former champ w the factors that he had coming into the fight and had a bad score card w the 5th round (even tho he lost the fight imo) it was still close. Hope it’ll be a good fight
