- I mod my JUMANJI BOARD REPLICA with an animated LCD SCREEN/SOUNDS from the Jumanji DELUXE GAME. It's a 50$ upgrade that was well worth it! Check it out!

What a fantastic build. It might pay to purchase some old antique dice, so that they are nicely balanced.

I just purchased everything to do this and planned it a week ago before this amazing video. Only difference is I plan on putting the center on bolts and springs so I can still push the center instead of drilling a hole on the side of the board. Love the magnets. You didn’t mention it but I planned on doing that as well. Also, Etsy has handmade figurines and dice that look like the movie vs plastic. Wish me luck! And thank you for doing the leg work so I can jump in comfortably.

With cheap and simple magnets, a motion sensor and a motorized rail you can make the pieces move on their own like in the movie.
That's on the list for the next upgrade for sure!

This is spectacular awesome work! I think what would make the game engaging is that with every riddle, you need to role a specific number on the die as the jumanji center has a count down

I don't have any Jumanji board, and have never done anything with transferring electronics and such. That said, when you mentioned the button for triggering the riddles, I was thinking it would be cool if you could put it under the edge of the lens, so that a light press on the lens itself would trigger the riddles. The idea was inspired by Stargate SG-1, where they press the dome-like center of the control console to activate the stargates.

I stumbled upon your channel by accident, but as Bob Ross would say - "What a happy little accident!" Your props are amazing! I'm curious - the inlay on the top of the game box - is that hand carved wood, or did you create it using a CNC or 3D Printer? Its amazing work!

Very cool, but why didn't you just make it so you press the gem to trigger the riddle like the original?
The original game settup didn't fit in my box. I had to customise it.

You know, for the dome you could have gotten a good look with a lot less effort by using some gloss or high gloss polyeurethane over the dome out of the mould.
I could also see another upgrade being a better speaker for it...perhaps also adding a remotely triggerable thing to play the drums just to freak some people out. Perhaps something added that might also shake the board a little bit.
Not the same size and not the same quality my friend. Quality takes time.

Question: Why make a new dome and not use the one that came with the computerized version? was the circumference different that the Collectors Version that you swapped the electronics into?
Pretty good that I forgot to answer in the video. It's simply way too small. 30% too small I would say and it doesn't look as good as a casted dome.
@@DaBuild Outside of the dome issue, I'm pretty sure I could do this, as well (of course there is the initial outlay to buy two boards) but the dome fabrication is a bit beyond me...sadly. Any chance I could pay to have you fab one?
