@@hivemindgoblin8540 where you put the flank rope it would be hard to put it right on the testicles or penis. I’m sure it could happen but you always double check to make sure you have it in the right spot. I have been putting flank ropes on for years now and you want them snug but not overly tight because that could potentially hurt them or be too tight and make them not buck as much. They come through the chutes pretty calm because this is what they are trained for. If we were tying their testicles or hurting them they would let us now. It is just an annoyance to the bull basically and it makes them wanna buck with their back legs a little more in hopes for a better ride. It doesn’t hurt them at all though. The tying their testicles to piss them off is just a myth. People have to realize that the rodeo world respects the animals probably more than anyone. Without them we wouldn’t have bull rides or rodeos. I haven’t met an owner that doesn’t love their bulls either so everyone does as much as they can to not hurt them. Which over the years I have only seen one bull get hurt and it hurt its leg. Nothing serious and it lived and kept bucking soon after. Bull riding looks bad to a lot of people because it does look a little rough on the animals but it’s truly not. As for this video, I have never seen anyone do this but the bull is completely safe. Helping with the lineup etc. 17 year old dude was every bit of an old school fullback, 6 foot, 280 pure muscle. Full grown 1200 lb steer got loose from a 12 year old girl and charged him. Happened to fast * to run, he turned around and took it head on, grabbed it's horns and just... Absorbed it? His arms were like suspension or something, had its horns gripped like curling a bar. Took like 5 straight shots to the gut full power from this steer and got lifted off the ground twice... Last one he just dropped his stance and straight muscled this thing and flipped it sideways. I will never forget that. Dude was the 4-H hero for the rest of the week. Insane.

Big ol buddy of mine, farm boy a few years my senior was in the ring at the cattle auction at the county Fair back in the day. Helping with the lineup etc. 17 year old dude was every bit of an old school fullback, 6 foot, 280 pure muscle. Full grown 1200 lb steer got loose from a 12 year old girl and charged him. Happened to fast * to run, he turned around and took it head on, grabbed it's horns and just... Absorbed it? His arms were like suspension or something, had its horns gripped like curling a bar. Took like 5 straight shots to the gut full power from this steer and got lifted off the ground twice... Last one he just dropped his stance and straight muscled this thing and flipped it sideways. I will never forget that. Dude was the 4-H hero for the rest of the week. Insane.
Yeah man, working around animals draws out some inner qualities in some people it's an amazing thing.

@@DonavinVaughn what do you mean? Cattle sale was Thursday nights every year, had like 3 days left of fair. After that, had to go back to everyday life, a lot of us wouldn't see each other until next year or the fall 4H dance

I'm not sure what part you missed, but I said he was built like an old school fullback. Maybe you should check the difference between corn-fed farm boys who work all day baling hay and carrying grain sacks vs the roid pumpin gym rats. BIG difference.
