Thanks for the video, I’m changing out the hardware on my 59 Epiphone today using Faber 👍🏻Thanks 👍🏻
Warning! When replacing bushings, check the depth of the hole in the guitar!!!
Great demonstration, it is so refreshing to see replacement being done without the obligatory, annoying, rambling explanation.
Note: Install the inserts with! the bridge attached, to ensure the correct bridge hole spacing and the correct angle of the inserts
Good point thanks 👍🏻
But isn't the spacing already set by the holes? My stock nashville posts seem to lean in opposite directions. I think I will upgrade to these posts.
You put the bridge on backwards.
Sound and vibrations travel through dense metal- vs- less dense metal, so Faber from Germany has less dense metal in their kits, = Better Resonance ..... ;-)
What an absolute crazy waste of time and money.
Wym?
Wobbly metal posts between a bushing and bridge is not a good way to transfer energy. This fixes that. One post directly into the body and touching the bridge.
Did as you've done but posts too far apart for ABR bridge holes to fit. HELP!
It is very strange. what is your guitar? Most likely, the spare part was not correctly selected
@@mzr2779 Gibson Les Paul Standard 1999 - I notice one of the iNsert posts is slightly out. That could be the issue - perhaps I should return to seller for replacement?
@@Fuzzbrain61 you really better contact the seller and check with him all the information
you cannot put an abr bridge with its posts on your guitar because it s made for a nashville bridge with differents posts. if you want to convert to an abr then you need to use the abr convert posts sold by faber
What year Gibson lp is this?
