Funny part is that she used a variety of brown and black singers’ voices over the years, that’s why she never sounds the same in her songs.
You know, I remember watching her videos as they were released on MTV and thinking she sounded different when she sang live, not realizing at that time that it wasn’t even her singing on the tracks. JLo is a fraud.

In NYC, even back in the 70s/80s, you probably had to be staunchly middle class-and inching toward that upper middle class level, mind you- in order to afford private catholic school education for your kids! Hell, in comparison, I was definitely lower middle class down in Miami, FL, then. Because my mom tried to get me into private Catholic schools but we were too broke to afford me that privilege at any point. And I was amply provided for otherwise--no holes in my shoes.🤣

My niece worked at a place where JLo stayed during a tour. Mark Anthony was with her. While he was nice and friendly with staff, she was nasty and demeaning to them. She was upset because she wanted everything in the room white and some things where not the tone she wanted. I feel she has talent but her arrogance turns people away.
