This was - obviously - a mistake! Your trains and cable-cars are second-to-none! Bless you for providing this 70-year-old with the opportunity to view them.
Amazing and beautiful trip. I rode the train to the Jungfrauloc back in 1966 when I was only 18 years old. Like everyone else, I wish I could go back in time to live my life over again. However, this fantastic engineering would not yet exist back then.

Beautifully shot and a most wondrous mountainscape is captured marvelously. The video editing is excellent, but I did notice the descending shots run in reverse to allow us to see the other side of the valley (the passing cabins gave it away 😁) I have visited the area a few times, but before this cable car was opened. Your Jungfrau series, which I have only just discovered, has prompted me to think about another visit very soon. Thank you for posting such high quality material.

No, it’s not necessary. Buying tickets at the ticket counter might cost you some extra time in queue but I recommend it if you need tickets for many persons or family. for single ticket, buy online and save time.
I would have liked to seen the orientation of the top terminal in relation to Kleine scheidegg. We have been to Kleine scheidegg three times and once to the top of the jungfraujoch. We have stayed in Wengen but not Grindelwald. Planning a trip back in 2 years; Switzerland is an adult Disneyland.
@@AKSense Sorry for the confusion, in the US we use the word terminal to mean the destination point of a bus line, an airline or a Railroad as in bahnhof. The reference point I was trying to use was the Kleine Scheidegg bahnhof. Thanks, danke

Lovely video. One comment though, in your footage sometimes te cablecars pass on the right site wile ascending. This is a bit perculiar since right cable goes up and the left is for down. 😄

Correct!! To make this video unto this level, we solved many struggles during videography [weather, cloud, sun glare, shadows, dirts on cable car's glass, glass glare, # of cameras, suitable ND filter in sharply increasing/decreasing brightness... and had to trip multiple times (x8)]. We couldn't achieve all the shots we wanted, so that part was played in reverse in this video....😊

You just need to enquire at the tourist information ℹ️ counter. Staffs provide assistance in boarding and de boarding of such passengers if a special request is made to them prior.
Beautiful video! But (disappointingly) you showed almost nothing of the 'Grindelwald Terminal' lower station, and only a very brief glimpse of the Eigersgletscher upper station. At Grindelwald Terminal how far is it from the BOB train to the cable car? Similarly at Eigersgletscher, how far is it from the cable car to the JB train?
Great vid but the train goes through the North face of the eiger cut through solid granite in the early 1900s with view points cut out of the rock seems a much more impressive journey, BUT Extremely expensive I see there's still no warnings about altitude sickness, it's only when you get to the top station and there's someone flaked out on every bench!

without any reduction card, CHF 75 for a return trip. You can board it either at Grindelwald terminal station or Eigergletscher station. If you had watched it without fast forwarding, you would have got this information there.

Winter clothes are recommended for trip to Jungfraujoch due to snow, wind and cold temperatures in October. Yes traveling with children is regular there. A very nice video, beautifully filmed! Truth be told I have mixed feelings about this line but no strong opinion either way. Regardless, it would be far better _not_ to have any announcements onboard. They always destroy the mood by their unavoidable "cheese factor" and the somewhat condescending presumption that people's imagination is inferior. Best rides in the Alps are _silent breathtaking wonders,_ practically by definition. I'd VERY strongly recommend removing those announcements. And if you absolutely _must_ have something, just make a short matter-of-factly welcome message and be done with it.
Please understand that onboard announcements were placed with a different purpose - to provide more real experience of this journey...of course that may interrupt a continuous soothing experience of breathtaking landscapes. We respect your sincere feedback and will keep that in mind in our next releases. Truly thanks! 😊
My wife wanted so bad to go up a cable car when we were in Interlaken but i'm afraid of heights and have watched "Where Eagles Dare" a hundred times so it was a ..NO...LOL
you film to the front and to the left and to the right, but it doesn't occur to you to film the north face of the Eiger a little higher up. Next time you can film the bottom of the gondola.

Great vid but the train goes through the North face of the eiger cut through solid granite in the early 1900s with view points cut out of the rock seems a much more impressive journey, BUT Extremely expensive

without any reduction card, CHF 75 for a return trip. You can board it either at Grindelwald terminal station or Eigergletscher station. If you had watched it without fast forwarding, you would have got this information there.

No, we don’t know any such place for tourists. Only Local inhabitants can go and reach at such places because they are authorized with permits.

Actually, these cable cars are more silent than trains, and due to being at certain height above the ground/houses, they are not a matter of concern for inhabitants. Not to mention, this project was started after a consensus of community.

Winter clothes are recommended for trip to Jungfraujoch due to snow, wind and cold temperatures in October. Yes traveling with children is regular there. And, Kids might like to play in the snow park there… ☃️❄️

A very nice video, beautifully filmed! Truth be told I have mixed feelings about this line but no strong opinion either way. Regardless, it would be far better _not_ to have any announcements onboard. They always destroy the mood by their unavoidable "cheese factor" and the somewhat condescending presumption that people's imagination is inferior. Best rides in the Alps are _silent breathtaking wonders,_ practically by definition. I'd VERY strongly recommend removing those announcements. And if you absolutely _must_ have something, just make a short matter-of-factly welcome message and be done with it.
Please understand that onboard announcements were placed with a different purpose - to provide more real experience of this journey...of course that may interrupt a continuous soothing experience of breathtaking landscapes. you film to the front and to the left and to the right, but it doesn't occur to you to film the north face of the Eiger a little higher up. Next time you can film the bottom of the gondola.
