You have to understand that artists work for record labels, not the other way round. Emtee was independent for years and never had the success Ambitiouz generated him. None of the artists that left Ambitiouz were ever able to top the success they had with the label. A Reece was bigger than Nasty C at one point, look at him now. Ask yourself why artists keep signing record deals if they can do it on their own. We see a successful artist but fail to realise the work a label puts in to make them successful.
