What the hell do u call that? it's the worst thing I've ever seen. Am a kitchen porter myself and that really goes against health and safety regulations everything is just thrown in the water including the containers and no one is paying attention to the floor and the water tanks are over flowing which is also a health hazard water and electricity do not mix
It is much different than what we are used to. I have watched this video a couple of times now, if you look fast at it, it looks all gross, and unacceptable, but when you look closer, it is a really massive dish washing factory, because they're washing big quantities of dishes, which arrive in those big blue containers, which are getting washed in the crates washer. The single crate you see in between the crockery is meant for cutlery, if they throw the cutlery in between the crockery, it get's lost, as they fall through the conveyor into the water tank. why do you think the water would come in contact with ele ctricity, when it flows over the floor like that? don't you think that those machines electronics aren't insulated. Please think again: If this wasn't the case, and the water would come into contact with the electricity, the whole system would break down immediately, as the fuse will break, this is not what they want to, as they need some work to do, right? ;-) Then you might think it's gross how the system works, but think another time, have you seen how long that dishwasher is! it has all the sections our small restaurant dishwashers have, too. but over a much longer distance, this will ensure proper cleaning. maybe you also would consider a normal dishwasher to be better, then, think about this: Then you must hold every single item in your hands, before putting them in a rack, or on the conveyor, this also is very much intensive work. How long would you keep up doing that, when dishes arrive in such huge quantities? To some way, it looks unorganised, but they have surely thought about the most efficient way to do their dishes. If they need to do it the 'normal' way, then they need much more staff. This could make their operation too expensive. It is the same where i work as a dish washer. When i started in 2000, we worked with a minimum of 7 ppl, in the dishroom! now we must do the same work with 3 or sometimes even 2!
@@kokkieamigaThanks for the explanation. It looks gross. Most have never seen such an operation or understand such an undertaking. Looks like a hotel operation. Most commenters bring their racial bias and ignorance with them.
It for sure looks nasty. But after watching the video again, it seems that the first nasty water is the pre rinse, getting rid of leftover food residue and garbage. I can't really tell how many stages the dishes are washed and rinsed in, although I hope it gets rinsed with clean water at the end. The utensils go into trays because otherwise they would fall through the cracks. If you work at a restaurant with a conveyor dishwasher, utensils go on a tray for the same reason. Although I do see the amount of water getting on the floor a bit concerning. But the machines are more than likely designed to be water resistant and used in an environment like that getting wet all the time.
Don't know whether to be surprised or shocked? The Machine does the washing of the dishes. But yet. You don't have to get your hands dirty. Same with the buspan. Its automated cleaning

Yeah, our US FDA would laugh in the faces of anyone suggesting this craziness. At the VERY least they need ear protection, what a horrible racket!
