There are other well cared for and nicely groomed horses in that stable, but they didn't have anyone show up late at night and give them treats.

Horses do smell good. And never a bad breath. That coming from someone who keep his horses outside. They get dirty but that neck always smells amazing .
The way Apollo gently takes treats from the young lady is absolutely astounding. Hopefully, one day, she will ride Apollo on a trail and enjoy him in the wilderness as horses are meant to be enjoyed.
Horses are often softer and more careful around smaller humans. As if they know they are our babies and need to be protected
My mother loved horses and would go down to the stables with our friends just to smell them. She didn't care if they were clean or dirty. The smell is heaven.

@@apollotheshire Yes, I have been using oils since I was a kid. My dad was an Art teacher so I was very fortunate to have been given access to all kinds of professional materials that he used at home. He was more of a sculptor but his watercolors were beautiful. Although I did take art in high school and university I am mostly self taught but then I also had access to a library of college and professional art books of my father’s so that was a boon.

Yes of course, we are in Utah. He is doing great, about to head to out to ride him in about an hour. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to post more videos on this channel. People love him almost as much as I do and so I want to share him as much as possible through the channel. Thanks for your comment. I actually just finished three new videos that I’ll be posting in the coming weeks.
