@@McMasterProGenius Hello dude, i want to make a dual transformer inverter. Can i connect those transformer in parallel? E.g dual 500w to make 1000w inverter. All vid i've found just about rewinding those transformer.
If that epoxy (or the tape) isn't a good enough heat conductor, then that entire heat sink is useless. Better would be drill and tap holes, then screw them down. Easy in Aluminum.
This is cool. One point to note is the durability of irf3205 mosfets on 12v source and inductive load is unreliable. Since there are neither any snubber protection nor schottkey diode in circuit, cant say how many of those mosfets survive.
IRF3205 mosfet 110A and 55V. This mosfet is based on 110 amps. With 50% safety, it resists 50 Amps. 30 of them can give us 30 * 50 = 1500 Amps. For 12 Volts this means 12 * 1500 = 18000 watts. 4 mosfets are sufficient for 2000 watts. Transformer link: 80W AC 220V To 24V Single Low Frequency E Type Isolation Small Power Transformer This circuit does not work. Trasformator is powerless and wrong
Maybe the mosfets are so bad, he has to use so much of them... But this remembers me of an inverter to glow up a fluorescent tube up to 60W from 12V with one mosfet without any heatsink needed for small tubes and a mini ferrite transformator. So the biggest question is the waste of electronics for this. Think of the planet, please!
It's not powerful sir the mosfet very hot and not 2000w,the enamels cable use 1.5mm Not 2000watt only 500w and this inverter using zvs system not efficient. :(
How does the circuit work, without an oscillator? The ferrite transformer is very small and is intended for high frequencies and does not operate at 50/60 Hz
you have the construction diagram and the voltage 50 or 60Hz, and amperage specifications? The transformer that you indicate is 24V input and you are feeding it with 12V
*I used those same Mosfets to repair a failed controller for my electric scooter. It blew up as soon as I hit the power. It was a combination of a bad board design and my laziness to add better insulation. I used 15 IRF 3205s. Pay no mind to the comments. This is interesting for me as I'm disabled and just holding a soldering iron is damned hard. Cheers.*

As a professional SMPS designer i have to ask you , DO YOU REALLY DESPERATELY NEED SUBSCRIBERS AND VIEWS ? First thing first , Ohm's law - let's assume that this , i must confess , visualy interesting design CAN deliver 2KW (in dreams maybe) , how much current will it draw from battery ? Almost 170 Amps from 12V , IF it's efficiency is 100% (impossible). Calculate wire gauge for that current. Second, at high currents it is critical to distribute it across MOSFETS with proper wiring! Even 1cm of wire becomes small inductor and big problem. Third , output voltage regulation and frequency. This is a blocking oscillator that oscilates at free running frequency that depends upon load, battery voltage etc.Output voltage is also very unstable. Then there is cooling that is ridiculous ... I really apreciate any kind of work and it's OK to be creative so thank you for this video. People should be inspired with science BUT please stop making toys and claim that they work as a serious device. This thing can deliver from few , to few tens of Watts at best. Put your effort in real science and wanted success will surely come, including views and income ;) Best luck.
Where is the oscillator???? You can not just feed DC into a transformer.... This is TOTAL B.S on so many levels. And gluing output devices to a heatsink would give very poor heat tranfer.

If the circuit configuration in the video is practically providing 2000W In real time from a (12V, 8.2Ah battery), (MATHEMATICALLY) it has to be like this:⬇️ 2000W= 12V × XA XA= 2000W/12V X= 166.7A 2000W= 12V × 166.7A −−−−−−−−−−− In this case, we need to extract 166.7A from a (8.2Ah battery) So: 8.2A × 1h= ...... [h=hour] [166.7≈ 8.2 × 20.3] =(8.2 × 20.3)A × (1/20.3)h [(1/20.3)hour= (60min/20.3)= 2.95minute] −−−−−−−−−−− So: If the circuit configuration in the video is really providing 2000W In real time, the battery will last for 2.95 minutes only: 2000W= 12V × 166.7A (for 2.95 minutes only)

Powerful MOSFETs are pretty poor in this design (a multivibrator). If you look at the current generated with an oscilloscope you'll have a heart attack. Oscillations must be made with low power transistors (or MOSFETs) and the powerful ones are used only for switching. As it is 150 Watt is an absolute maximum of what this thing can deliver, especially continuously.
Well. That will only produce something like a square wave. You might use it to light up a bulb but not to run an ac motor efficiently. Moreover, the output frequency is very high.

Fraude... No puede sacar 2kw con ese pequeño transformador de ferrita... Pero bueno...
Si ese transformador es de apenas 500w
what kind of transformer did you used for this.
Curious... how is this an inverter when your useing a DC power supply?
ruclips.net/video/qj7Rfr9mkSw/видео.html
quais transistores servem para fazer esse inversor ?
qual a resposta ?
Is this the wavy current you have done, the square flow. that is, it is a full sine inverter
12v × 8.2A = 98.4w diferente a 2kw
De donde sale la energia restante?
20000-98.4 = 1901,6w
1901,6? De donde salen?
If the circuit configuration in the video is practically providing 2000W In real time from a (12V, 8.2Ah battery), (MATHEMATICALLY) it has to be like this:⬇️
2000W= 12V × XA
XA= 2000W/12V
X= 166.7A
2000W= 12V × 166.7A
−−−−−−−−−−−
In this case, we need to extract 166.7A from a (8.2Ah battery)
So:
8.2A × 1h= ...... [h=hour]
[166.7≈ 8.2 × 20.3]
=(8.2 × 20.3)A × (1/20.3)h
[(1/20.3)hour= (60min/20.3)= 2.95minute]
−−−−−−−−−−−
So:
If the circuit configuration in the video is really providing 2000W In real time, the battery will last for 2.95 minutes only:
2000W= 12V × 166.7A
(for 2.95 minutes only)
