Thanks for sharing this with us! I picked up 3 packs of the TIY Pro and really like them compared to The Longhairs I've been using for the past year. It's amazing how they can stretch so much but still retain a tight wrap without being overly straining on the hair.
The innovation is taking a stretchy string and trying it, you can do this on your own to get the tension you need on your hair.

i remember when i was starting my hair growth journey and i had those really cheap hair ties and sometimes that glue really was sharp! Like it would cut my hands sometimes! Insane. Now i have some cloth hair ties from amazon ive had for prob a year now. Im growing my hair back out again so ill have to try these out when my hair is long again

I use the brand Teleties. But lately they haven’t been working the best for my hair now that my hair is getting longer and thicker. I have always had thick hair. So I bought a pack of 32 black hair ties on Amazon by the brand Goody (same as the black you showed how easy it was to break them). Then I bought another package same Goody brand but the athletic hair ties. But the TIY ties you showed look pretty cool. I might try them out some day in the future when I need new hair ties again.

Braids are cool. My fine hair doesn’t like them because they break my hair so easily
What things would you recommend to look for to find a stylist that can cut/trim hair on a boy that wants to wear his hair longer? I have a son, who likes his hair longer. But, every time I take him to a salon they butcher his hair.
I just ordered these hair ties- question to you guys currently using them. Are they strong enough to hold a high ball while you spend the day riding roller coasters?
I wonder why no one is making ties that are without seem. Surely we have the technology for it nowadays. I like when ties are somewhat thicker but still very elastic, and a little rubbery to hold in place. The ideal size is when two turns stays on loosely, for instance for sleeping, and tighter with 3 turns to wear during the day with a high ponytail.
Man I want long hair but I got a short buzz cut. Never went for long hair maybe I’ll go for it this year.

Ok, I really don’t want to disrespect the TIY company, I actually think their idea is pretty cool, but I just have to say it.
This stuff ranges from $8 - $15, and it’s literally an elastic fabric string which you tie together.
You can get a long elastic fabric string like this one (without that little shell like package) from Amazon for $2 - $4 depending on which length you pick.

A little more engineering went into it. They are very strong. I’m not sure what their margins are but I will say, the typical black elastic ties I buy break within weeks. And I’ve been using one of these hair ties for at least a month now and it hasn’t broken. So they last a long time

my hair falls with a white area at the bottom, I looked online people with the same issue but theirs has a build but mine has a white bottom
and the thickness from bottom to the top is the same and the top isn't sharp

They do have the XL bands from Hair Ties for Guys, have you tried them? You can use them as a head band or a hair tie
I have. Too long. But they did release an L size (between the regular and XL) only available on Amazon. They’re pretty good. I do like them

Seems overpriced and I looked up how much you get and it's only 3.5ft. I'm sure the plastic container with the blade is also bad for the environment. Think it's cheaper and less of a headache to use the cheap hair ties that break on occasion.
You get what you pay for.
Was gonna say the same thing regarding the environment comment trav made. The huge plastic shell more than makes up for a little piece of elastic band thrown in the garbage
