My dream is to a barber, with no time for school though. I’ve been cutting my own hair since I was 14yrs old learned from my cousin who at that time was in the military. My only advice is keep doing what you love , that’s what it’s about . Before you know it you’ll be better than you’d imagine . Appreciate the support ✊🏽 cutting is a clean side hustle and you can make more than you make at work when you reach that level even cutting from outside a shop 💯 it’s up to you really , I don’t cut from a shop and I support and hold down my family of 6 care free 💡again it’s about what makes you happy and your already taken the right steps to improve yourself by watching videos and putting in work . You’ll learn more from RUclips than a school 💯

Fade blade cuts closer and sharper and can create harsh guidelines if your not careful , a taper blades sets soft easy to remove guides cuts just as close but not as sharp 👌🏼
I didn’t even know each different clipper came with different blades , I have the limited edition white fx and I was trying to take out the original guideline and it just wouldn’t . You think if I buy the black it will ?
I removed my bald guideline no issue , it's not the clipper it's your tools not working with each other . In my tutorial did you hear me explain why I set my guideline with one trimmer then bald out with another it's for that exact reason . Try setting your bald guideline with a trimmer that isn't so zero gapped or even your clipper with the closed lever and it will have no issue removing that guideline . You can also zero gap your white babylisspro fx mine zero gapped perfect and close .

It's okay , I'm not a fan of the twide blade can't ever get it to hit ... that's why I don't use wahl trimmers . However I do like setting my bald guidelines with it since it doesn't cut so close so the bald guideline is easier to remove .
Quick question, when you use the one guard open to make a guideline how comes you don’t gradually close the lever on the one guard but instead fully close it and go straight to the half guard?
I did adjust mine not fully zero gapped but close . Yes I'd recommend setting then to your liking as they don't hit out the box as well as they can or should 👌🏼

@@jagwarz ther is absolutely nothing wrong with that , I take 45 mins a cut and 1 hour for full service . I charge my worth and offer a amazing service that separates me from anyone near me . If a client wanted to be rushed they'd go to super cuts or great clips . Even tho I can finish a cut in 30 mins , I still take all my appointments in 45 min slots .

When you zero gap both blades, does the gold taper blade still have a harder time taking the bald line out than the fade blade? Or are they both good enough to take out the bald line? Thanks man.
They both struggle with removing the bald guideline , you'll need to set your bald guidelines in with a trimmer that doesn't cut so short or with the clipper lever closed .
Ant The Barber thanks man. One more question, I saw that you put the Wahl stagger tooth on your silver FX in a different video. With that Wahl blade on there, was it easier to remove your bald trimmer lines like the cordless magic clips? And did they zero gap closer than the babyliss blade?
Do you believe ring lights are necessary for all barbers? Reason why I ask is because I don’t have them and eveytime I think I am done with a cut they go in a different light and then I see dark spots. So frustrating.

Because that brings the blend together , the 1 open is to soften the next guide the 1 closed is the length of the guide .
How to blend without 0.5# and 1.5# guard ?
Use the corner of the blade with no guard lever open for the .5 and use the #1 guard lever open corner of the blade for the 1.5 👌
