- Born in a garage with a single drill press and a dream, Lolo Racks has grown from engineer Joseph Oshman’s dream to build a better rack for his family to a booming bike rack company with customers around the world. Despite the company’s growth and move from Joseph’s home to their own building with state-of-the-art machinery, the passion and dedication remains. That passion doesn’t just extend to the finished product and a constant tweaking on bike rack designs. Joseph and Lolo Racks are equally passionate about American manufacturing from the welders and fabricators in-house to the local steel purchased, local powder coaters and painters, these racks wear their Made in America labels with pride.
Depending on the size of your family or usual riding crew, Lolo offers a four or six bike rack designed to fit into a 2” receiver hitch. If you’ve got an adventure van or other flat-backed vehicle with a ladder, Lolo offers a Bike Rack Kit that is easily customizable to suit your needs. If you happen to live in the Pacific Northwest or are looking for an excuse to make a road trip, Lolo offers a build and install pickup option. That’s right, you can swing by Lolo Racks HQ, meet the crew who built your rack and have them install it on your rig. If you ask ‘em, they’ll probably even point you in the direction of some sweet trails.

JOE OSHMAN! Miss you bud, so happy for you!
Absolutely loving this series! I didn't even think about rack manufacturers. Definitely on board with the direction you are going!
Awesome thank you so much and glad to hear you’re enjoying watching these as much as we’re enjoying making them!
killer 80s station wagon 😃
Stoked on this one, I've known Joe since we were young and rode BMX together. I knew he was doing big things but seeing this is awesome!
Right on! He’s a great dude and a cool company!
These factory/shop videos are so good. You got to go to We Are One in Kamloops someday.
Thank you very much and we'd love to get up there, hopefully they feel the same way and have us up.
Great feature! And big kudos for non-obsolescence for legacy racks!
I want the fairmont
We all do!
Well done! So great to get to know these brands. Love this series guys!
Thanks! Let’s get down to visit the e*thirteen crew soon.
These racks are dope especially if you carry mtb, gravel, fat, road, kids bikes, shovels, snowboards….they all work. We use it all over Canada and USA.
This came out great. Best racks. Best people.
Thanks very much! Rad people make for great videos, we love the Lolo Crew.
Great video...next time do a review of his Zephyr wagon!
Will do!
Second that! Looks like it has the wheels from a CHP Mustang. And it sounds like a Ford V8 too!
@@venivelovici correct on the wheels. 5.3 all aluminium LS
No wonder it took so long to get my rack with all those shenanigans going on! JK absolutely love our rack, it works awesome on our jeep!
Rock on! haha
Gotta love designing and building a better mouse trap. I've found my new rack.....goodbye Yakima
I had seen or heard of Lolo Racks until this weekend at Howler Bike Park. They had one on the SXS, it was pretty easy to use and secure. I would definitely get one if I needed another rack.
NIce glad to hear. We want to come ride Howler, how'd you like it?
@@TheLoamWolf Howler was a lot of fun. Great trails and incredible people running the place. They were saying they have expansion plans that should start up in the fall. The potential for Howler is high with the property they have. I’ll be back and I can’t wait to see how much better it gets as time goes on. Definitely go check it out, you will gave a great time for sure. I just wish it was closer to me. I drove up from Houston and don’t regret it all.
Great video. Really need details on the fox Body wagon though!
I have a LoLo rack and love it. Been dreaming up a swing attachment to get it out of the van doors way…boom! There it is! Any idea when they’ll have that available?
Shooting for later this fall. Stay tuned!
Would love to see some footage of the tilt and swing arm being used when it's loaded with bikes. Looks like the mechanism might be hard to get to. Also, any chance the swing out will be made to swing out towards passenger side in future? Drivers side doesn't work with my set up and also swings out into traffic if parked on street.
I'm in Bend and have 1ups on both vehicles and am looking to move to one of these racks possibly in the future. Thx
Fellow 1Up customer here. I really prefer the lower-profile of its design though I don’t really do any shuttling. That seems to be the target market for Lolo (and Recon etc) racks.
Hello Josh, we make it swing to the driver's side so the first van door opens easier. This is the only swing purpose built for the demands of a big vertical style rack.
You never showed how the bike actually mounts up on the rack.
Would never be able to lift my Commencal ebike up on that rack. I have a Ram Promaster.
Not a fan of these racks, but cool series.
These racks are terrible to use. If you have an ebike dont even think about it. Go velocirax.
What was terrible about these racks? I’m debating on getting one or not. Thanks
