    Great movie. In about 50 days I'll be road-tripping with two friends in the states. I'll make a timelapse. What are your settings? And what was the interval time between the pictures?

    Good job, I think this is the first road timelapse ever of a road trip between the two Iberian capitals. There are some questions though:
    00:39 You actually never merged into any A1 since the km 0 of the A1 is in Sacavém. The road you merged with is not A1 but "Segunda Circular", which is a Lisbon urban expressway with a tight speed limit of 80 km/h.
    16:53 The road is A-5, not A5. In Spain a separation between the road type and the number is always used and it's quite relevant. "A" stands for "autovía" (freeway) and, in this case, it's the "autovía" number 5.
    41:58 The same about M-40. The separation is crucial.
    Did you really go to McDonald's in Badajoz instead of a traditional restaurant in Elvas? I mean...

    • @robert111k
      @robert111k 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, because in Badajoz there are no traditional restaurants...

      @@robert111k He went to McDonald's though. Is McDonald's a tradicional restaurant of Spanish Badajoz?
      And yes, I talked about Elvas because restaurants are much cheaper in Elvas than in Badajoz. In fact many people that work in Badajoz go to Elvas to eat because Alentejo food is great and due to the general cost of the meal.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I ended up going to McDonald's a lot on this trip to save time because the days are short (this was recorded in November) and I don't like recording in the dark. The plan was to drive to Rome and back to Lisbon in a short amount of time, but I ended up not making it all the way there.
      While not recording in the mornings/evenings is when I checked out better restaurants lol

      And thanks for clarification about the Spanish highway naming, I have more videos coming from Spain so I'll be sure to name them better.

    No real-time version? Or at least 4x time-lapse speed? This is way too fast to be enjoyable!!

    • @travelxoverland
      @travelxoverland  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the feedback, you may be right that something like 5x speed would've been better than the 10x that I chose to go with here.

      @@travelxoverland No, don't use 5x, use multiples of 2: 2x or 4x speed!
      If you upload time-lapse videos @60fps and in 4x speed, then using RUclips's "playback speed 0.5x" means that the video is 2x@30fps; and when using "RUclips's playback speed 0.25x" means that the video is real-time@15fps... which is still usable.
