This modernized homage to the cozy horror anthology series is a no budget passion project by Dan Mancini and Jimmy Gable aka SNEAKYBOY

Somehow I always end up stumbling back to this video. And every time I get sucked back into its atmosphere. Just wanted to let you know you and everybody involved did an amazing job putting this video together for all of us 90s kids to enjoy.
Watching "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and reading Goosebumps got me hooked onto the supernatural/scary as a kid. This is a really well-made re-imagining of the intro. If only this could turn into something and allow me to re-live my childhood! Great job!
Which episode of "Are you afraid of the Dark" was your favorite or most stood out in your memory? Mine was the one where the vampire came through the movie screen at this old run down theatre.

You guys could definitely do something with this for today's audience. I remember watching goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark as a little kid and always being terrified but at the same time wanting to watch more. If you guys remade this as a filmmaker myself I would most definitely let my son watch it. The 80's had homage paid to it thanks to Stranger Things. Now it's time for the 90s to pay homage to AreYouAfriadOfTheDark?
There is a real Are You Afraid of the Dark movie coming out this October. It's not an anthology movie I heard it will be just like one story, there is going to be an introduction to the new midnight society before the story gets told (so it's basically like a really long episode, but it's still a 90 minute movie coming out in theaters). While I do like Are You Afraid of the Dark as a kid, as an adult I realized the whole point to Midnight Society sounds kind of dumb and I find it unrealistic that kids today would go out of their way to do this ritual. It is why since the updated version comes out this October I hope they give a different explanation on why these kids do this. If it was up to me, the kids are only doing this because if they don't tell horror stories in a certain specific area during the night on a weekly basis(or it could be on any basis) than it would cause the dead to rise up in that town. Also that fan made trailer looks awesome, I like that they took the original music and remixed it, it would be cool if it was part of the real movie (the one coming out this October).

Just saw the new official trailer, and was so upset I searched original trailer and found this. This trailer is 1000x more interesting and spooky in the right ways. You’d think a producer who did any research would have seen this and realized the potential

Since we're actually getting a reboot coming out in October in the form of a three-episode/stories or five episode/stories miniseries. As a fan of the original six-season show please let this be the intro to the reboot as it definitely captures the creepy/terrifying vibe of the original intro.

Hey. So, I have a problem that's keeps getting worse and worse and I need you're help with it. It started last year in October, but recently it's gotten much worse. It started when I wan doing the usual things to get me in the Halloween mood, watch Halloween videos from RUclipsrs I like, listening to my favorite Halloween music, reading creepypastas, and watching creepy shows and movies. Everything was going like it normally does until I got to... Them. I shrugged it off as me just really getting in to the Halloween Spirit, after all I hadn't really been feeling Halloweeny for the past few years. I figured all my watching and listening and reading had finally gotten to me. But boy was I wrong. A few months later I went back to my Halloween music just for fun while I did some dishes, but then I got the that song. The piano notes that start it. The warning that comes with it. But I didn't listen. and now here I am. I've tried getting away, but they just keep calling me back. The obsession growing stronger. I can't deny the call anymore. The call of...

I think you could have gotten your own audio folly. The costumes are good. I wish they would have all been around the lit fire at the start or inter cut the first kid walking to the camp site as the kids were coming and he lit it wide shot they come in frame from different directions. Opinions are like...haha. Great job! Really like the shot at 1:19 mmmm.
