These speakers look and sound great. I owned a pair of JBL Professional JBL 4311WX-A speakers which out several years after this JBL 4310 model, and the 4311 was an improved version of them. I was the original owner from 1978 paid $900 new and had 500 parties with them until I sold them October 2021 for $1,195 in perfect condition they never had any repairs or modifications and everything sounded great on them. You heard every instrument with them. They sounded good with a $200 20 watt Panasonic receiver and also a Yamaha A-760 intergrated amp that had zero distortion and 80 watts, with all of the equipment I used them with. they always sounded great.
The original 4310's were the best speakers of this series including the Century L100 'inline' and 'offset' versions. There isn't an engineer around who worked on 4310's who wouldn't say the 4311 was a huge step backwards and MUCH less of a speaker... or in the words of famed engineer Bruce Sweeden-- 4311's are "DOGGY DOO DOO"
These are the pro versions of the famous JBL L-100. They definitely fall under the classic "west coast sound" generally understood to mean brighter and more forward but it is not necessarily a neutral or accurate sound. JBL later replaced the L100s with the L110s and L112s, both substantial improvements over the L100s with much more attention to crossover design and flat response.
Great. But I still believe that they are more at home with some good old rock/pop music. This selection here is a bit “audiophile” for them. They prefer something else! Just my two cents…

This is one of my favorite listening rooms on RUclips.
Beautiful listening room and such wonderful sound from so simple a set up. Goes to show you don't have to go overboard to get great sound.
Of all of the great sound rooms online, for me this is number one...
Why? Too much echo

What model of TRIODE amplifier ? What are your Speaker cables ?
How did you get the extended high frequency out of the LE-20? Did you make any modifications?
I’m trying to figure out the voices coming off the bottom and the bass shooting directly at you ?
Speakers upside down
They sound better that way as it keeps the bass tight due to further off the floor.
