Lately I've been thinking of rewatching "It's -day in Kazakhstan" videos.

Over ten years of bulgarian + starting competing at age 8 = technical perfection when one becomes a senior lifter. Ilya is the GOAT and was robbed from his lifes work. Great content as always thanks to the Sikastanian Overlords.

This series slaps, especially since Frankensteining a technical model from various lifters via RUclips binges is precisely how I learned, until channels like yours and Tellie's took off + coach.
E.g., Ilya was always my go-to on clean tech. Apti for speed/foot movement for longer limbs in the snatch. You're so far touching on all my WL crushes for similar reasons and I love it Hahaha

I also pull inspiration from multiple lifters to learn my lifts. Ilya definitely pops into my head on my heavier clean and jerks. The man just rips weight off the ground and man handles it. Sometimes I need that aggressive pulling to hype me up lol.

@@traysurfer4578 hell yeah! The speed is something else and the timing is something I've tried to emulate. We both have t rex arms.
After watching this unit lift I was holding the hook and sweeping the bar in no time!

Sir, does the length of the bar affect muscle development, particularly in squats?? If i squat 100 pounds using a 4 foot bar vs a 7 bar....what difference does it make??

Might be an optical illusion but it looks like the bar drifts forward in the 1st pull as opposed to the typical motion.

It definitely happens for sure, funnily it would help if he turn his toes out BUT i mean.. a 250kg clean says shut up Eoin. 🤣
