  • For more metal vids visit metalinjection.net - Noa speaks with Nevermore bassist Jim Sheppard in an incredibly revealing interview. Jim opens up about how the guys in Nevermore manage to be in a band for 15 years and not kill each other, how his goals in a band have changed over the years, how they found their new second guitar player, a crazy story involving Pat from Cannibal Corpse, having a dry bus and how sobering up has improved his life, his expectations for playing the upcoming 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise [link] as well as their most recent album, The Obsidian Conspiracy. Finally, we ask the ever-important question: Does Jim prefer flour or corn tortillas.

Oh man, I just read the bad news that he had a surgery this week cause of brain turmor. I really, really do hope that he recovers soon!! The Nevermore Tour in Europe starts next week, I hope they have found another bass player to play with. I have been looking for this concert for months now. This is really so sad, he´s such nice guy. Jim, all the best for you!!!
We - the fans - can´t wait to see you on stage again !!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

The first thing that always comes to my mind when I think of Jim is that he is so loyal. He was in Sanctuary and then Nevermore, I mean it is a long time sticking around

I can't believe that even when one of the best bands in the metal scene have members open minded and focused as the ones from Nevermore there are still people thinking AND talking shit about metal...

I hope Jim gets back together with Jeff now that he is out of arch enemy; possibly Lenny and Van too.
