I plug my irons into a timer switch, so I don’t have to worry if I forget to turn them off.

Alex, Heirloom Creations has filmed 130 videos in reference to the Berrnina 770QE…along with other machines. I reference all the time the videos for my Bernina 550QE. I like the videos better than the actual Bernina videos.

When you have an iron that does not shut off automatically I plug it in a plug strip with a small lamp so it reminds me to turn off my iron before leaving my sewing room.

I've been watching alot of quilting videos to learn. Still a newbie and still can't sew a straight line lol. Right now I have a Brother 425 and wanting a bigger machine but I don't know which machine will be best. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

@jeri burden The most helpful thing for me when it comes to sewing a straight line is to sit directly in front of the needle.
To shop for the right sewing machine, go to a sewing machine dealer and "test drive" them. Tell them what features are important to you, what type of sewing you plan to do, and they will help you find the best machine for your needs.
