In relation to your observation about the singers not singing together much.. the male singer on bread song, chaos space machine, basketball shoes etc.. left the band immediately after the release of that album due to anxiety/ mental health reasons, the male singer on the live and newer stuff is the sax/ flute player, so only sings on 2 songs, and probs too otherwise engaged to provide more singing, other vocals are by either the bass player (up song, dancers, ) or keys player (turbines) so all sounds by a violin, keyboard/ synth , bass, sax/flute and drums .. and they’re all freakishly talented classically trained early 20’s kids too.. which makes for an interesting future for them
