I own a D3100 and upgraded last year to a D7200. Amazing camera for the money. I am not disappoint with my results and I usually shoot Airplanes (plane spotting) . Occasionally I try landscape. This camera can do it all! Thanks for the great video!
Hello Darryl, it’s the same for me but I bought the d7200 a few years ago 😁 I don’t use my d3100 anymore now. Sometimes I’m still surprised from the D7200, with the result. Indeed it can do it all 😁. I’m happy you liked the video.
Thanks for your great video! I also own a 7200 and use it to photograph my life in Japan. I've been using it for almost 3 years now, and it still surprises me.
@@JorisVanDeuneghem All together I've been living in Japan for about 20 years now. Originally I'm from the US. I started out with a D80 many years ago, and then moved up to the 7200. I do lots of cultural photography for university projects and the like.
@@JorisVanDeuneghem . I photograph mostly birds some landscapes and now the fall colours. Recently the Kingfisher and a Wilson’s Snipe a very attractive bird, warblers. @@JorisVanDeuneghem . I use a 70-300mm lens I find it best for when you shoot run and gun and biking. The odd time I’ll use a Nikkor Coolpix P900 with a longer range, it’s just a hobby for me. Greetings from Alberta, Canada.
@@JorisVanDeuneghem . Birding can be challenging just finding one to begin with then getting a clear shot and lighting you know all about that. People say to me I never see anything like that, I say the more you go out the more chances you will come across a good subject, Happy Shooting!.
Thanks for sharing your experience with great results at the beach....I always enjoy pics of the rocks & water as I also live at a beach area... sunsets are always great compositions... cheers from Australia 😀
Thank you Robert, for me it’s a 1hour and 20min drive to the beach. It’s not super far but also not super close. I was happy I had a little bit of time to go to the beach. I should make a dedicated video again for a shoot at the beach.
Just shot some birds last night, maybe the light was too low but I’m not a fan of Auto ISO in shutter priority mode. It can take amazing photos but you gotta get the settings right.
You won’t be disappointed by the D7500, it’s a really great camera. The only thing I miss with these bodies is a flip screen. If I need to buy a new camera in the future it needs to have a flip screen 😁 and thank you 😊 thank you for watching.
Wow i bought my D7200 in Tokyo 2016? I am finding it difficult to find data to convince me to upgrade, was hoping for a little guidance here, surely after 8 years there must be less noisy sensors the same size? but I can't find. I still love it, but note even my sigma lens ( according to DxO mark ) 17-50 2.8 is only giving 13Mpix sharpness rating. ( It's wonderful but barely utilises the potential)
What do you do with your photos, are you printing them big or is it just for ig and facebook? The only reason I would switch is because my d7200 body is getting old and I start to notice it and also because I could use a flip screen. At the moment I’m also not gonna switch yet. It’s a really great camera. If you want gear less heavy, you can switch to a mirror less camera. If you are not convincing your self to switch, why are you thinking a bout switching?
I am a beginner and thinking of buying a D7200 with the standard 18 - 140 mm lens. What do you think? Is this a good choice, the prize is about 450 euros for the camera with the lens, about 3500 photographs taken with it, basically new...
@@JorisVanDeuneghem i can not try it cause it would be sent to me. And i dont know if i can trust that guy who sells it 🙄. But anyway thank you for your reply.
It’s my first d7200 so I don’t really know. I also should check my shutter count. I love the thing because I come from the d3100 and that’s a big difference.
@@JorisVanDeuneghem I have 2 off D7200's and a D7100, also had another D7200 and D7100. they all had oil issues. but at the price of oil these days you could make money, lol. I now clean my own sensors, not a serious issue after the 3000 count. I think these cameras are great, low light is fantastic. To find out if you have dirt or oil on sensor. Switch to 100 iso, F22 if possible, take a shot of a white background while rotating the camera around continuously until the shot is complete, might be a few seconds. Look at the file, because the camera was rotated in a figure of 8 or around in a circle, the only dots you see are on the sensor, the sensor has not moved so it shows up any issues. GOOD Luck. Only clean the sensor with correct swabs and fluid.
Dam that’s a great arsenal of cameras 😁 I never heard about that oil problem. I also haven’t noticed any problems with my sensor. I also clean it my self, but only if I really need to do it. Thanks for the info 👊🔥

Ah shame you diddnt have some more time, but glad you see you back at the beach
I wish it was the Spanish beach 😁 I’m glad I had some time to go. Normally the plan was to shoot for my client the whole evening.
I am looking at buying the D7500 mostly because I already have 4 DX lens and mirrorless is too pricey just yet. A great shot by the way ... Cheers

Tengo las dos, pero los colores que te da la 7200 y se extra de píxeles la hace superior en calidad artística no técnica.
@lucho3995 gracias por ver. Los colores están bien, pero creo que podrían ser un poco mejores.
One downside of d7200 is fixed screen . ,but it doesn't bother me as I never shoot in live view 😅
Recent years it started bothering me actually. I’m shooting a bit more from lower angles and I could use one 😁
