I wouldn't change the ending at all. The look on David's face when he motions to the chair...omg. It wasn't anger, or vengeance it was "welcome to the nightmare I've been living. Now, let's get on with this mission." Also, this is a straight up Bradbury style story which also ties into mid century Americana, landscape, and loneliness.

WHY would you send yourself to space and keep a replica with your family? lol

I don't understand the love for this episode, I thought it was boring and predictable, not to mention weird having such advanced tech with unchanged old tech from 1969.

WHY would you send yourself to space and keep a replica with your family lol this episode should be called "beyond stupidity"
the only thing that saves this episode its the actors, which do an amazing act.. that was the only thing that kept me watching. It was pretty predictable.

I don’t know why it gets so much hate, especially when we’ve seen this play out in real life. I remembered when Britney Spears was having a mental breakdown and paparazzi was relentless. Her shaved head with the umbrella moment was a metaphorical “werewolf” transformation. And the paparazzi just kept snapping away showing her zero compassion/humanity.
