He is a good choice for anomaly teams, I have been using him with Grace and Piper and he can use the new shield set to provide an additional buff, even if you don't need his shielding (some players might though) he can provide more anomaly for on field character but he can reduce enemy anomaly res which is usefully for any anomaly damage even if done off field. He may not have the best buffs in the game but he is good enough.
Since neither of these comments actually understood your question, your assumptions are entirely correct. Seth would be used to buff Jane, not Burnice.
You can get Seth to buff both Jane and Burnice, it is just very hard to set up. If you daze an enemy with Seth right after a defensive assist and then whichever character you chain attack with next will get his shield, so if your team lineup has Burnice after Seth you can buff Burnice like this, but like I said it is difficult to pull off and Lucy's cheer on buff is just easier to use.
As someone that's been using Disorder since day one, this is just more of the good stuff for me. Her playstyle being real fun is just icing on the cake.
I've now lost every single 50/50 since the release of this game. I was going to uninstall and used my last 10 pull and miraculously got Burnice in that last 10 pull. You get to live this time ZZZ.
I've never had a gacha where my pull luck is close to as bad as it's been in ZZZ. Heading into this banner, I was feeling like, "bad luck can't go on forever, right?" Then I hit an all-time worst 85 pity and lost the 50/50. If I go late into pity and lose the 50/50 on Yanagi's banner, I'm probably gonna hang it up. The game's fun, but I don't like missing out on characters and getting disappointed over and over.

It sounds counterproductive, but two piece inferno metal actually gives you more anomaly damage than two piece freedom blues when you're fully built. Anomaly proficiency increases the amount of anomaly damage you deal based off of a percentage of the base damage, base damage being at 100 proficiency. This is why each point of proficiency is considered to be equal to 1% damage, like it says in the tooltip; it isn't *entirely* accurate, but it's close enough and is easy to understand. A good way to imagine this is by putting a decimal point in between the hundreds and the tens place on your anomaly proficiency, because that decimal you get is the number that your anomaly damage gets multiplied by in the code. (IE: 350 prof = 3.5 damage multiplier) This means, however, for characters like Burnice who stack anomaly proficiency, its not always the best option to stack everything onto proficiency. This is why the 10% fire damage bonus from inferno metal gives a larger damage boost than the 30 proficiency from freedom blues. Since Burnice is going to have over 300 proficiency when she's fully built, the 10% fire damage bonus is going to effectively give the equivalent of over 30 proficiency or more, but the damage boost also applies to the non-burn damage she deals, meaning you get everything freedom blues gives you and more. Even if you don't have exactly 300 prof or more, the elemental damage will still give you more dps above a certain point. This combined with the fact that her core skill scales with her attack stat means that in order to do the most damage possible with her, you want to invest in attack and %elemental damage, while your only source of proficiency is your substats, and your disc 4, and the two piece bonus from chaos jazz, with your ideal proficiency being around 300, although more is always better, as long as you aren't sacrificing too much attack or elemental damage.

Don't use EX2 before Ult is a great tip. Playing around with Burnice/Piper in the HIA Bootcamp training, I tended to focus only on her energy bar and forget about her heat bar. It's intuitive to burst with her EX2 then Ult during a stun window, but I gotta train myself not to do that.

Why is the duration extension of burn effect "whatever" in her core passive? Doesn't that extend the amount of burn damage over time that you can proc, similar to Rina's Shock duration extension? If there is a disorder in the team, then shouldn't it activate all of those extra ticks? It increases damage significantly I thought

I was pulling for C6 Lucy cause I was planning to get Lighter but managed to get burnice in the 50 pulls I did so I still have 70 left for lighter :D not complaining at all though because I main Grace Jane Rina and now my lucy is C6 and I got burnice so now I have a disorder team to cover both mechanical and organic enemies now I wait for the leaked ether anomaly unit with nicole for ethereal enemies and I will have every archetype covered for my disorder team! Only issue now is if they announce miyabi after lighter I am definitely going to have to skip him also skipping yanagi because I already have grace if shes that big of an upgrade over grace or rina Ill get her on a rerun

I think it'd be important to note for Jane players that Burnice isn't necessarily a strict upgrade to her current team, and depending on who's calcs you go by, she may actually be a downgrade to the Jane-Caesar-Seth team (downgrade being more prominent if you have Jane's sig). It's kinda like, for now Jane is part of Burnice's best team, while Burnice is part of 1 of Jane's best teams. Ofc all of this is irrelevant if you just like Burnice tho
They'll be ok as Lighter buffs fire damage, but they don't really want each other. Lighter kit is more for Attackers instead of anomalies and he doesn't really care for burn state. She is still a small upgrade over Lucy in Monofire so go for it if you want

another RUclipsr tried and talked about a triple anomaly team, using Jane, Burnice and Grace. He claims it is the highest damage team due to constant Disorder procs, although it requires a bit of practice. What do you think about this one? Perhaps you would like to test it out?

@@Tartarum I would recommend Seth over Qingyi ,Qingyi is more so for burst dpses since her main buff (increasing the stun multiplier) will be limited to when the enemy is stunned, better to use her in a different team as the stunner, Seth buffs only Jane but he also lowers Anomaly build up res which helps both Burnice and Jane, increasing Jane's damage also increases the disorder damage anyway
While i know jane would be better, i just cant not use lucy piper and burnice together. They just are meant to be together gameplay wise as well as vibe wise haha. Probably just going m0 burnice but if things are luckiy i may go more, and stick with the battle pass engine
Gonna be rocking Piper on my burnice team because I need two teams and making my jane caesar team stronger won't help the other side. besides it would make seth pointless and i invested on leveling him.

Is Burnice gonna have a synergy with Lighter in the future? Like are they good to be in the same team? Im saving for both of them
They'll be ok as Lighter buffs fire damage, but they don't really want each other. Lighter kit is more for Attackers instead of anomalies and he doesn't really care for burn state.
She is still a small upgrade over Lucy in Monofire so go for it if you want
Is 2-Piece Inferno Metal good for Burnice? I got a bunch from farming for Soldier 11, so I just want to know if that works.
Let's say I only have one weeping Gemini, rainforest and roaring each, high refines, and maxed levels. And I plan to run the Grace Burnice duo with either Lucy or Rina
Who should hold weeping Gemini? And who should hold whichever of the other two W-Engines?
Is it worth running 4 Freedom Blues on Lucy to buff Burnice?
I can spare 10 pulls on her. Still recovering from Ceasar. Need to save up for Ellen rerun so I can get the W-engine. Also not looking forward to ditching Seth. I was open to ditching grace sure but I have Seth fully build by now dang it.
I'll see what Yanagi would have to offer before making any hard decisions but do far it's looking like I'll be skipping this one, Yanagi/lighter/Miyabi/harumasa/2 of the idols.
As much as i wanna pull for her I have no jane, so i'm gonna have to pass up on her and wait for Miyabi To come out.

another RUclipsr tried and talked about a triple anomaly team, using Jane, Burnice and Grace. He claims it is the highest damage team due to constant Disorder procs, although it requires a bit of practice.
What do you think about this one? Perhaps you would like to test it out?

great, i already have Lip Gloss U2, i can save my Fusion compiler for Yanagi if she uses it. or get Grace on my 300 pull bonus. my polychromes are not as cooked
Can i use seth or qingyi instead of caesar/lucy in jane + burnice team? cuz i barely had enough materials to finnish upgrading seth and i still haven't even used qingyi.
@@Tartarum I would recommend Seth over Qingyi ,Qingyi is more so for burst dpses since her main buff (increasing the stun multiplier) will be limited to when the enemy is stunned, better to use her in a different team as the stunner, Seth buffs only Jane but he also lowers Anomaly build up res which helps both Burnice and Jane, increasing Jane's damage also increases the disorder damage anyway

For Fusion Compiler, is the 2EX Combo supposed to be when you hold E twice to switch from single flamethrower to double flamethrower?
Do we know if Burnice's stats get snapshotted when applying Scorched or does it always scale with her current stats?
no snapshot, which is why caesar's buff doesn't work when burnice is off field
While i know jane would be better, i just cant not use lucy piper and burnice together. They just are meant to be together gameplay wise as well as vibe wise haha. Probably just going m0 burnice but if things are luckiy i may go more, and stick with the battle pass engine
My only options for w-engines so far are Lip gloss (bp) and weeping gemini. I have both Jane doe and Burnice. Who gets which W-engine?
Gonna be rocking Piper on my burnice team because I need two teams and making my jane caesar team stronger won't help the other side. besides it would make seth pointless and i invested on leveling him.

I was "fortunate" enough to get M2 so I'll see what I can do with building Rina as a second electro applier.

probably they are gonna copy HI3rds ult mechanic where, each unit has separate energy(or decibel) meters which they can use for their ulti

Eventually, use both.
If you need heat on burnice then use burnice's, if you need to refill passion state on jane then use jane's
In an interview a month or so back the devs said they are thinking about the idea of giving everyone an ultimate chance instead of having one to choose among the team, so hopefully in upcoming patches both.

He showed the w-engine section that weeping Gemini P5 is lower than fusion compiler so I don't think you need to bother with that.

Chaos Jazz but you have to be mindful of the set turning off after 5 sec of on-field time. You can also consider Freedom Blues.

man.. i'm trying to build my 2nd team... I have Jane/Seth/Caesar right now and honestly that is already super strong, but then Burnice make that team even stronger... sigh... my 2nd team on mono electric of Anby/Grace/Anton is so bad that i'm having trouble clearing S7 of Shiyu defense (yes, i'm not the best at rotations) but Anby stuns sooo slow, to the point where i'm considering buying Lycaon's signature w-engine for her... I think i'll get Rina for the 300 standard pull so I can try Rina/Grace/Burnice
