To be honest, this is just people talking about a bill, and the reality of being under surveillance is that you can never find a warrant, and the police will do anything to stop you getting your records "whoops, we lost them" etc. I have taken legal claims against The Met and London Borough of Lewisham, using the Data Protection Act, and both were settled in my favour. However, the surveillance continues. Important items of post go missing. Recently this has been a letter for a hospital appt, DWP letters and possibly another hospital letter. This has been happening to me since 2012 when I was put under surveillance at the behest of a Social Worker I had annoyed. My text messages may, or may not arrive, and sometimes several days late. I don't know when it ends, when my kids are grown up?? When I die?? The pretext was the safety of my children, and some idea that I might do a parental abduction - which is ridiculous. We have not had any involvement with Social Services since 2013. My eldest is almost 15. My youngest is 8. I am 50 and increasingly unwell due to chronic health conditions. I am now struggling to get the NHS to treat me. I've been assaulted in my local hospital by a member of staff. God knows what is on my records. I have now developed severe claustrophobia because I just can't trust anyone at the hospital. In the past I have had numerous MRI's for my arthritis, but now it is impossible. I have no power at all to do anything to the state, as much as I now detest it. This is extremely cruel and totally unstoppable. I do have some limited proof that this is going on because some of the Council records from Lewisham speak of regular meetings with the police, and shows them discussing if I might have g u ns or am m0. It is utterly ridiculous. 50 year old former academic.
