I've installed OpenLogic's OpenJDK8 and Intel Haxm (filehorse), but if only targeting windows desktop, why does one still need to install Android Studio / 'Command line tools' / SDK manager and plugins? I'm interested in creating a desktop app that can talk to the usb hardware (via a dll).
@@DvlupSkillsyeah bro, I tried it many times😩. Emulator keeps showing that it is not applicable for main.dart file. And emulator keeps getting terminated by device manager after 300 seconds.

option to create flutter project in android studio doesn't show up even it show flutter and dart plugin installed
In plugins section of Android Studio you need to check the “AndroidAPK Support”. If it is unchecked then enable it and it will work,
