Why are people complaining about her cover. I think it's wonderful! And I'm a huge fob fan. I think artists should add a unique touch onto covers. It makes it less boring.

Why can't you just understand that FOB and TPR have diferent styles. They've made a cover turning the song into their style. And thats pretty much the best thing they could have done. Of course, if you don't like TPR you won't like this cover. It doesn't mean it is a bad one. If you want to hear FOB's verison just fucking go and listen the original one in instead of a cover.

Pretty much 70% of the acts that appear on this segment sing off of a lyrics sheet. I don't understand why its such a big deal that Taylor does it as well. Hell, even Patrick was singing off of a lyric sheet on the "Uptown Funk" cover and he messed up some lyrics too.
The cover was different, which is admirable. It's bland when people cover songs in a karaoke fashion. All in all a decent job done by the Pretty Reckless

ImmortalSparrow yup lol but as a performer I can tell you that you feel the music anyway not see it besides even though it doesn't apply to this performance usually you switch from dimly lit to spotlights blinding you add in strobes and stage lights and yer not gonna see anything anyway plus don't forget you gotta hide those bloodshot eyes man ha ha

Though I prefer the original by fallout boy, I think Taylor did an awesome job not mimicking the band and making it her own. For those who are saying she should have put more enthusiasm into it, she made it look effortless which to be honest is just her style XD

I saw them live in Glasgow last night, it was the last night of their month long tour with FOB, they were absolutely amazing in comparison to this but I'm sure they were just absolutely exhausted after the month long tour and if they'd had a day off this would have been a million times better! Love taylor though! She's perfection!
Didn't think this was a terrible cover, it was alright....people are actually complaining that they don't like it because it sounds different...anyway she's clearly holding a paper with the lyrics, it seems like an unplanned thing. Would have probably sounded better if they had a chance to rehearse more.
Yeah no, I highly doubt that it was unplanned. They looked like they knew what they were doing. Just a pretty bad cover... I mean what was the point of that? She sang 2-3 lines of the entire song, it didn't add anything to the actual song. Boring.
Then explain why she has a sheet with the lyrics. Not singing the entire song =/= bad cover. This not appealing to your personal taste =/= bad cover. If you can't give a concrete reason for your dislike I'm going to assume that you are unaware that covers are a bands interpretation of a song in their own style. It seems as though you always want the song to be exactly the same as the original. Which is what's really boring.
I think it was probably planned but not rehearsed due to the fact that just 2 days before this video (not sure of actual air date but maybe same day) Pretty Reckless finished touring with Fall Out Boy in Glasgow (I was there) so yeah

Everyone's bitching about how this doesn't sound good/the same as the original. UM MAYBE BECAUSE IT'S A COVER. "Cover" is the key word here - meaning doing your own personal take on someone else's song. Taylor sounded great, the guys sounded great, so that means it was a successful cover. If they did it the exact same as the original then it would be pointless. As far as Taylor reading lyrics and everyone complaining because she just toured with them, um maybe she isn't a FOB fan. She doesn't have to be? Sure, she toured with them but that doesn't mean shit. Personally I highly doubt FOB is a band that Taylor and the guys would listen to as they're all generally more into classic rock and metal. Does that make them assholes? No. Fuck up and enjoy the music because it's awesome and stop nit-picking.

You are all kind of forgetting that The pretty Reckless have a very different style of music, it is very different from FOB. They are currently touring withFOB and Radio 1 probably asked them to do it because it was well known. Her music is amazing and your saying they dont loook into it at all but she always looks like that. Even live wheni went to wstch her, i thought she was possessed. Seriously though listen to going to hell, make me wanna die, my medicine and heaven knows. Thos songs are so sexy and smooth and this song is just not suited to her at all. They were just trying to make it fit their style.
