Cope, my man, you are so close to 100K. No one deserves it more than you. I’m a big Houbigant fan, I currently have 5 of their fragrances. My Bois Mystique looks like yours, and I ordered the EDP (that cost around $150-$175 on the grey market depending on the site). The extrait versions go for around $475, so they cost a pretty penny, but I’m not a big fragrance baller like you. My favorites are Ambre des Abysses and Tabac Nomade, but honestly I have yet to smell a bad one. They’re all really good scents. I’m not sure why, but 2 of my bottles have Silver caps, and 3 of my bottles have Gold caps. I’m also totally down with you on Moustache, the cheapest fragrance in my collection but definitely a favorite. Best wishes for you and Grace. God bless.

From what I understand ''Eau Forte'' refers to the industrial process using acid (hence the ''strong water'' that would be litteral translation of ''eau forte'') to engrave and carve metal. The english name of that technique is apparently Etching.
I smelt Sauvage Eau Forte in stores a couple times now, the opaque white juice did feel a bit uncomfortable a sticky on skin, however the scent did last a while on my arm contrary to what I had read prior. Still it's exciting to see a polarizing release (given that it's polarizing for other reasons than being overpriced or being an millionth flanker of a line), it makes me curious to see for myself everytime.
Always happy to hear the occasional Guerlain & Houbigant mentions, especially when it's not to mention the usual suspects from these houses. As well as our goated Rochas Moustache. I never hear people mention the EDT very much but it's also quite great I loved wearing it this summer.

Glad to see your stance on the Eau Forte. I commented on your other video on how I sprayed myself a few times at Macys and gave it an entire day, and was surprised on how much I enjoyed it. I don't own the EDT, EDP, or Parfum, but do own the Elixir. I think it's easy to get caught up in the mob mentality online when negative reviews start pouring in, and people don't want to like something that everyone else is slamming. Fragrances are no different that music or art... it's all subjective. There's no right or wrong. Props to you for having a mind of your own.
Enjoying your videos over the past week or so and gave a sub. Keep up the good work.

Nice picks. I've got Bois Mistique one year ago and I love it. I have the exact label and it's the EDP Extreme, not the Extrait. The Extrait comes in a huge package and it's 460 € here in the EU; in the US it's probably 600 $ (for example Creed are almost double the price on your side of the pond vs. the EU). Red Colorado intrigues me as I love coniferous scents. Cheers!

My latest buys are fragrance world royal blend original (basically a 100ml of angels share for 38 shipped)
    Royal tobacco
    Guerlain ideal edp
    Prada homme intense
    Loumari porthole
Then I got 5 moudon fragrances from fragrance lord, a bit of a risk. They're called eclipse, tempest, wisdom, glorious, and charmant. It's a very lesser known brand but they're all extrait. I'm hoping they actually make the fragrance blends and it's not just a bunch of mass bought premixed fragrance oil mixed in alcohol
The very few reviews I saw on them they were well liked and said to perform well, and I only paid 52 per bottle after the coupon code so for the cost I think it could end up being a very great decision

Love Gucci Intense Oud by I gotta be mentally ready to wear it whenever I do. It just sticks to my skin like glue. I can scrub it off in the shower and I will still be picking up the scent for two days. Pretty sure its skin chemistry too cause I sprayed on the couch thinking it would last for a long time and it didn't but when Im wearing it and my neck touches the couch, then it lasts for a really long time. Gotta be mentally ready to only smell that for awhile if I ever wear it 😂👍

$20 for Mustache edp! I'd buy three! Maybe more! 😂 I paid $65, and it was worth every penny!
G PH Oud is good... Guilty PH Oud is better... as are PH1, PH2, and Envy, IMO.
I'm not interested in the new "Sauvage." But I'm glad you are enjoying it, JC!
I think we could use a greater appreciation for the fact that we are all similar, not identical--in "FragCom" and in society at large. Variety is the spice of life... and, "The funk is in the flaws." Surely we do well to see the beauty in differences and the value of others' preferences. Thanks again for your excellent content, Justin. Looking forward to being able to buy your next Zaharoff fragrance! Only the best hopes, thoughts, and prayers for you, Grace, and your extended family, always. ☺️👍♥️🙏

I bought my bottle of Tuxedo that I've received today from Jomashop for 236 shipped after a 10 dollar discount code, which is always available to find for Jomashop. It's definitely a Patchouli heavy fragrance with hints of spice and sweetness that leans masculine. It has an alluring quality about it imo. I'll be wearing it yr round 🫡

@@upsetuloss Thanks, that’s a really great price. I didn’t want to say anything, in case you paid retail, but I saw it was currently available on the grey-market. Fragrancebuy.ca is asking $251.63, so you made the right call going with Jomashop. There is little difference between autumn and winter fragrances…it’s split up mostly for more differentiation. However, I would say that early Fall is my favorite time to wear aromatic Fougères (aka barbershop scents) because they contain both fresher and warmer elements, so they’re great for those early fall days/nights that may not completely warm or completely cold.

Does a fragrance’s availability on online stores you receive commission from influence your decision to include them in your ranked/list videos?
Because to some this may come across as a “my top ten fall fragrances” video rather than “top ten fragrances I like that you can buy from my business partner.”

    • @stayfreshproductions
      @stayfreshproductions  2 месяца назад +2

Of course a fragrance’s availability on a webstore with which I’m partnering affects its presence in a video like this.
But if you know my content, you know that I only feature fragrances I actually love.
This type of marketing is the way of the world. If it is upsetting to someone that I might make a couple dollars from a purchase that does not cost the consumer any more than what they pay, then that person has no need to buy anything that they see being talked about online!

    • @Jacob-ix9yr
      @Jacob-ix9yr 2 месяца назад +1

@@stayfreshproductions My consternation comes from you not so clearly disclosing this fact within your videos. Even if you truly love the fragrances, there remains an obligation to clearly state your financial incentive in marketing them.
Also, you will know that saying “this is just how things are” isn’t great when this community is filled with such dishonesty.

@@stayfreshproductionsYeah, you relegate that information to the video description and purposefully leave it out of the content itself. Why?
You know the content comes across like “these are just ten fragrances I happen to love” rather than “I am choosing to show you these ten fragrances because I am selling them.”
You may still technically like them - I’m not disputing that. But the video itself is misleading by design. Call it lying by omission.
Most people in your comments aren’t equipped to parse the nuance of marketing transparency so this comment won’t matter anyways.
Just call it the two scents from a long time viewer😮‍💨

Ummm sir bc that's the correct way to pronounce it. In English AND Italian lol. Justin must have been humoring whoever said that mess about "fort'. There is a Ft. Hood; a Ft. Dix.....but I play the pianoFORTE

      Easy….
      Forget it’s only September..
Although here in Michigan… we’ve had some chilly nights and mornings…
      48 degrees the other night…
Although we are currently in a little heatwave… But that’s Michigan for you.
Legit 65 one day… and 30 with snow the next..

Moustache has been the worst blind but I have ever made. I immediately returned it 5 minutes after the first spray. Buyer beware! Trust me.

This fragrance is an easy one to like (no big oud, no animalic note, etc.) Next time, spray 10 times, let the bottle sit for 1 or 2 months, then evaluate it again. You may be surprise how an oxidized fragrance change. I had a couple of "horrible" bottles that I am pleased to wear now, and others were my opinion hasn't changed.
