To be specific, the supply is no longer tainted. The problem now is that many homes pipes are contaminated due to the poisoned supply in the past. Some have been lucky enough to get money to fix their pipes, but most haven't.
@@DaveCleasc The supply was never tainted. The water source was changed, and the slightly different pH of the new water source dissolved away all the calcium buildup on the lead pipes and leached the lead directly into the tap water. The Netflix documentary “The Devil we Know,” covers this story very well. Definitely worth the watch if you want some more background before seeing the movie.
"The system is rigged. They want us to think it will protect us... We protect us, we do." What brilliant line. And given to an actor that can act! What a cast. Finally a movie worth a couple hours.
True. I forgot who but there was one organization who conducted a study, don't know if it was the feds, but the only uncontaminated blood they found was from soldiers from the 1950s when they were being drafted for the Korean war. After that, anyone has some level of their chemicals in their bodies.

I mean, since Fallout 76 brought that song back to public conciousness, but on an ironic note, it began to work like a novelty song: high chances you are gonna meet it during your day.
This is especially fitting considering the work Mark Ruffalo accomplishes as an environmental activist. I live near his home in the North East, and he has been outspoken in shedding light on corporations trying to frack in our area.
I fucking love Mark Ruffalo. I can watch him all day, all night even if he is doing nothing and just sitting looking at a wall or a window because I know even then I will be mesmerised. 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Mark Ruffalo seems to be getting a lot of cred in this thread. He's actually playing the real life Robert Bilott. The real hero in this saga. That man has integrity.
*See Hollywood, we care about movies like this. Because it happened in real life. Not everythig has to be animated or remakes of old shows that were never good enough to begin with.*

I would watch for the story alone, but the cast is on a whole other level!

Anne Hathaway is such a good actress.
Indeed, brilliant she is. Just yesterday I was watching her Selina Kyle clips, she nailed it.
Ya, here's hoping she's not got a small tiny role. Hope they utilized her well. But again, that's unlikely given Hollywood's records.

2) this cast looks brillant
This cast is stellar
Anne Hathaway is shown for 8 seconds only.
I have a feeling she has a massive supporting role here.

You kept me at John Denver.
