Chengdu is a city nurtured by 1,000 years of agricultural civilization. Life is laid back. Its food has colorful ingredients and is constantly-changing combinations to create a harmonious aesthetic between taste and visual appeal.

it seems china has become the master of chilies even though chillies do not originate from it. respect
Portuguese here. Most of my family is from Macau (Macao). Deeply rooted for 3,5 centuries (350 years) of Macau, should be added. Literally marrying East and West. Inevitably I love portuguese food some of the most influencial (altough forgoten) around the world.
With that said, the absolute love for Chinese food is always omnipresent. For the one's who don't know it. The minimum I can say, it's highly advisable (tasty & delicious). 🙂
I found curious the reference to "chilies" another detail introduced by Portuguese in Asia.
Chillies sent to Asia, other peppers sent to the West. Same merchants on both cases! ;-)
Malacca has Portuguese Malaysian fusion that’s out of the world as well .
