It is SO cool how you have given your Grandma a sort of new facet to her life in her old age, its a beautiful thing. I would have loved to have done the same for mine.
This ain't no tidy-joe. If you don't get it on your face was it really a sloppy joe? You can add that coleslaw. potato chips and/or sliced pickles to the sandwich (under the top bun) if you want to make it sloppier.
Yeah, Sloppy Joe is modern peasant food. It basically became popular because you could stretch one hamburger worth of ground beef into sandwiches for the whole family if you just added enough sauce to thin it out. That's why it's supposed to be so sloppy!
When I was a young teenager I worked in the kitchen of a nursing home. One of the creators of the Juicy Burger (very similar to Sloppy Joe) was a resident there. Every evening his sweet wife would come to have supper with him, and every other week we served sloppy joe. I will never forget her coming into the kitchen, asking for ingredients, and lovingly recreating his sloppy joe. Best love story ever.

Thats what i grew up eating too
My family always just browned ground beef, drained it, and mixed it with Del Monte canned Sloppy Joe sauce. still the best one I ever had.
I love that Grandma OK is so open and accepting. She makes my day every video.
I love how you are trying Different food from the US and not just burger and fries and calling it a day lol.
I adore your grandmother she's so adorable love your channel.
Need the launch lady, so she can make them extra sloppy for ya.
I love and respect your grandmothers interaction. You are very fortunate
Seriously! I love your grandma. All I can think of whenever I see her in your videos is what I'd like to cook for her. The way she enjoys food and life is just...wow. Thank you grandma for being so awesome!
This is absolutely adorable! This is food every US kid has enjoyed at least a dozen times in their life and it’s so fun to see the two of you enjoying it as much as we all do! So wholesome
I haven't seen my Grandma since last December, so these videos really warm my heart. They make the separation less painful.
You should give grandma a call, I'm sure it would be a wonderful suprise!
@@skepticfucker280 yeah, I call her often, and even recommended this RUclips channel. She’s so wonderful! She even had Covid last month but is still going.
@@PaigeMEaton I'm glad she is doing well, I can't even explain how worried I would get if an older family member got the corona.
