  • Welcome to my local train station, Greenisland train station in south east Co Antrim in Northern Ireland, It opened on 11 April 1848 as Carrickfergus Junction, then renamed to greenisland in 1893 and refurbished in 2008, Today in 2017, the service has a half hourly service to Belfast Great Victoria Street station to Saturday and hourly on Sundays, also half hourly to Whitehead with one train extending to Larne every half hour, Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sunday to whitehead and 2 hourly to Larne on Sunday, there are also additional and non stopping peak hours services as well, no freight comes through here services seen are
    3000 class 3017. 1403 NIR service from Whitehead to Great Victoria Street
    3000 class 3006 1412 NIR service from Great Victoria Street to Larne Harbour
    3000 class 3011 1433 NIR service from Larne Harbour to great Victoria Street
    4000 class 4010 1442 NIR service from Great Victoria Street to Whitehead
    4000 class 4009 1503 NIR service from Whitehead to Great Victoria street
