Good reaction! The band is Maximum the Hormone, this track is Yoshu Fukushu - it's about being an outsider at school. Maximum the Hormone is a well established band, they've been around for 20 odd years and have done theme songs for numerous anime (intro and outro tracks to the second season of Death Note were by them, their track F was used in a Dragon Ball film, amongst others), they've hit the top of the Oricon charts a few times and have a very large following (if you can find footage of their Metrock 2015 performance you can see the size of crowd they can draw and get to headbang in unison, impressive stuff!). They haven't done anything in English as far as I'm aware, another seriously kick-ass track of theirs is Alien, find it here if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/TdwT5JlH8gM/видео.html If you want some more crazy and surprising Japanese music to sink your teeth into try the band Doll$Boxx - their track Take My Chance is an excellent starting point, you can find it here if interested: ruclips.net/video/mu2z4Uf9Tgc/видео.html
Thanks for the clarification - I must admit I haven't heard their formative stuff from before Ryo and Uehara joined! Is it worth a listen do you reckon?
ItsArchie I see you're a person I would like to hang out with. Both a MTH fan and a Doll$Boxx fan? Side note, Fuki is an amazing singer. Her live songs with Unlucky Morpheus is top notch.
@raphaelo912 Thanks for the info, I might get a copy if I can find it for a reasonable price (currently £90 on Amazon and not available on Amazon.co.jp) @Ryan ベヒモス Fuki is amazing, I've been lucky enough to see her live several times with some of her various projects - brilliant every time!
Hello Actually this song is talking about the bully problems among junior high and high schools in Japan. There are many kids are bullied and decided to take their own lives and its becoming a social problem where media focuses these days. This song is calling out to them to tell them to fight back and be who they are.
You might help me out on this one. I'm pretty sure the maximum the hormone song (along with the weird cheesy intro song) is about japans population growing smaller due to lack of reproductive interest up there, any hint at that?
If you want crazy vocals check out Dir En Grey, also a Japanese group. The most reacted and known of their songs is Obscure due to it's very graphic video but It would be grat if you reacted to Vinushka. Keep in mind that all vocals are done by one guy. As for Maximum the Hormone they have been there for some time but their songs are often hard to find on youtube. The easiest ones to find would be probably "What's Up People", "Alien" and "Frieza".
I would recommend Uroko more for the actual band vibe; or Utafumi. Unless this guy gets around to react to Diru when they release their new album and we can choose something from there.
Great video! You should react to Psychotic Afterlife by Unhuman. They're based out of Montreal, and their vocalist legit sounds like an alien! Some of the best inhale screams I've ever heard
Stephen Childress wow sounds interesting! I'll check them out. I like the sound of inhale screams...Chino from Deftones does it a lot now which some people don't like but I don't mind!
Cool. I suggest other japanese band. A new song of a old japanese thrash metal from 80's. A band called Casbah and the song called Unsung heroes ( song for the herores).
If you want weard(in good way) songs you should listen to a band called "Fear, and Loathing in Las Veags" (not the J depp movie) My first request would be "Rave up tonight" or "Virtue and Vice" I hope you`ll react!
Maximum the Hormone "Alien" ttps://ruclips.net/video/TdwT5JlH8gM/видео.html This is one of the craziest Music Videos ever released. Seriously. Please react it. And, you should react to BABYMETAL !!!
I third that motion. Alien is one of my favorites. And yes, you should react to BABYMETAL as well. I never know what song to recommend for BABYMETAL. I started with "Gimme Chocolate" and thought they had a fun gimmick, but the "Road of Resistance" live video on their RUclips channel made me rush out to find all their live concerts. So much energy. I'd recommend you stick with live stuff as much as possible, because they just sound so much better that way.
In case of Babymetal I think Karate Live at Download UK 2016 is a good video for reactions for their newer songs. Ijime,Dame,Zettai at Sonisphere,UK 2014 is maybe even better. At least I like it a lot. :-)
初めて聞いたとき泣いたなあ
What I love from this band is the way they mix styles, it's awesome
Great video reaction, congratulations from México.
What a great reaction to the greatest band in the world!! MAXIMUM THE HORMONE!!

Hah, no worries, easy to do if you don't know them!

予襲復讐(Yoshu Fukushu)
Check out the tune "Up". Then hit "What's Up People?"
Be ready for a horde of request for random Japanese bands lol
And yes mth has a ton of music out there
Great band. difficoult to define any particular style. There's a lot of punk influence too
NAo does have a really pretty singing voice :) Shen she isn't trying to melt microphones :)
Mystic Virgo She does! It’s a huge contrast to the other vocalists. I’m warming up to them.
I have all five albums on my playlist now :) hee hee . the language isn't as important as the rhythm of the words :)
Yep. Full blow song

I second that motion. "ALIEN" is one the greatest things I've ever seen on the internet.
