Shimi(Stain) is an older MTH (MaXIMUM tHE hORMONE) track from 2007. Atarashii Gakko (The 4 girls in schoolgirl outfits) is a very eclectic J-Idol group (1 Mil+ subs) that while it's not a genre I typically follow, they are really good and they fit into this collab incredibly well. MTH is pretty legandary in Japan and very influential. Hanabie started out as a MTH cover band and the drummers from Band-Maid & Nemophila were inspired by MTH's drummer, Nao (She was the last solo singer in the video) that girls could be drummers. MTH loves genre flips (METAL/ROCK/PUNK/POP/RAP) on a dime and it works perfectly. The visuals in this MV are phenomenal. Grungy, post apocalyptic, traditional Japanese culture, even some Japanese horror movie elements
This is why I love the Japanese music scene. In America the mainstream music industry is all about demographics and the bottom dollar. It's full of stale, dry, "safe" music. In Japan they will try anything and everything. This song is a great example.
SHIMI...Legendary MtH feat. my favorite AG!🔥🤘💥 What an epic collaboration! Love Atarashii Gakko!'s versatility. They are never afraid to try new things and never let themselves be boxed in one style or genre only. New School indeed!
Masterpiece!! I love Atarashi Gakko so it's great to see this colab. Fantastic to watch your reaction. Japanese metal is a rabbit hole full of surprises. :)
LOL. Nice reaction. 👍 Maximum the Hormone are ... Nao: drums and vocals Ryo: guitar, vocals and songwriting (the guy with dreadlocks) Dasuke: death growl, screams, vocals and rapping Ue-chan: bass, vocals The woman in traditional clothes on the rooftop singing the last clean chorus was Nao, the drummer. She and the guitar guy are brother and sister. Atarashii Gakko are ... Mizyu (hair in twin-tails) Suzuka (glasses) Kanon (long straight hair) Rin (short hair, did the rapping part) Certainly not bands most of us expected to see working together, but then both are pretty unpredictable. I think this is a great collaboration.

I fell in love with the New School 🏫 😍
AG's versatility is such perfect vibe match with MtH's raw chaos energy.

😆❤🙌 Atarashii Gakko! Suzuka is a ROCK star! Rin, Kanon, Mizyu are Superstars!
They sure are . That was insane 😳 👏 😍

I've loved both MTH and AG and together both of their Crazy match
