I adore adar's character. Honestly I could listen to Sam Hazeldine yelling blackspeech all day😂. From what ive read I think a lot of people will miss him next season.

@annabizaro-doo-dah I agree. I think Sam Hazeldine really embodied Adar( no hate to Joseph Mawle he was great aswell) and he will be missed

Adar was the only semi-competent character in the show. I'm disappointed he's gone.

Adar has no backstory, he is a character made up by Amazon! He is a character in the book that Tolkien never wrote!! 😂😂

Adar has the backstory that amazon has created. I am aware that he is a original character, as I stated in the video

@Sirgoldblade I have found the amazon created characters probably the only part that is alright but yeah overall subpar

Wow this is complete BS. However I do like the actor who played Adar this season.
But I'm not sure where you're getting your backstory here but please you are not doing anybody a service by putting this crap out there.
If you care about Tolkien at all, have some moral fortitude and take this crap down.

As Adar is an original character created by Amazon for the Rings of Power, which already varies greatly from the works of Tolkien, it is a stretch to say i am doing a disservice to Tolkien or his work.
If you do not like this video feel free to dislike it that is your choice.
But what I choose to put out on my own channel is my perogative and I alone have the right to decide what I wish to post. If you wish to stick round feel free to watch many of my other videos which follow closer to Tolkien's lore.

@@onenerdtorulethem-all I would be more curious to find out your motivation for legitimizing what Amazon is doing. Tolkien needs protection and gatekeeping and valiant watch men and women to honor the professor, scholar and war hero that Tolkien was. To see his legendarium sullied and defiled by Amazon as it has not only dishonors Tolkien but all the other millions of soldiers that died on the battlefields of World War I and all the veterans that were traumatized by that experience. That is the core and essence of the nature of Middle Earth a soldier dealing with his post-traumatic stress disorder from the horrors he witnessed and the friends he lost. Real life horrors real life friends. Big One should never lose sight of what this work is based on. It is, after all a tale of soldiers coming home from war and dealing with trying to fit back into the life they left behind.
Hopefully you will consider that. But yes you can put what you want on your own channel. As I do with my own channel. And yes I can surf on and most likely will shortly. But these comments are not only intended for you but for everyone else reading them so that maybe they will consider what inspired professor Tolkien.
All that being said, you do have a pleasant soothing voice. I wish you luck and good fortune.

@garygor1960 I will agree that the production of Rings of Power is not the best interpretation of tolkien work however I find the character of Adar one it's only redeeming qualities because of his depth and characterisation as an original character, as opposed to other characters that they have taken directly from tolkiens legendarium and have haphazardly shoe horned their stories in to try and fit a narrative that they do so poorly. Like many works from novel to screen, they are not going to be perfect, and each depiction is open to interpretation. Some interpretations are more pleasing than others as some will be much closer to the people vision of the world of Middle Earth.

@garygor1960 it's fine, it's good to be passionate and be able to hold indepth conversations about that topic. There are no hard feelings
