A Toyota shines in inclement weather. I ended up keeping my 2022 after needing it for a Tahoe trip where there was heavy snow. After driving the truck in snow and blasting past other vehicles with ease it made me have a newfound appreciation for the Tacoma TRD Pro
Any trim with 4wd would’ve had the same performance. I have an Sr5 4runner with just a 2 and a half inch lift and Falken wildpeak AT’s and it’s literally unstoppable in the snow and any other weather that’s been thrown at it. I’m sure an sr5 or trd off road wouldve been just as good if the tires were all the same and equal. But not hating cause I absolutely love the trd pros and by far still the best looking midsize truck on the market
Got my 21 Trd sport for 39k. Looks like I made out. It’s only going up from here. I’m keeping mine for life. It’s essentially the same as this vehicle.
@@davidsky826 I just called up a dealer asked if they had a SO Pro coming in on automatic. They said yeah.l it’s available. I put down a $500.00 deposit. Some dealers require 1,000. Then you just wait.
@@davidsky826 Toyota works off an allocation process. It’s not like any other manufacture where you build a truck and submit it. If you have a specific truck, color, packages, trims, etc. you have to call around to dealers to see if they have been allocated that truck and if it’s available and not reserved yet
Better believe these last v6 year trd pros with low miles are going to be worth some serious money to collectors in just a few years. RIP v6 Tacoma and 4runner…
I hope your right. I just bought my 23 Tacoma trd pro solar octane tonight. Im really excited but kinda want to 🤮 at the same time. If u know what I mean.
I had a 2019 voodoo blue with the snorkel. I traded up to a 21 Tundra because the transmission wasn't up to par and it just wasn't for me. My wife and I also Love our 23 TRD Pro 4-runner solar octane. I purchased it after watching Ben take the 22 lime rush off road and how impressed he was with it. He later bought one for the Misses. I was like sold...
Hey brother. I know this is one year later, and I'm currently looking for a 2023 TRD Pro in solar octane. Scouring the internet at used ones. Prices vary. Can't even figure out what MSRP was. Or if these dealerships are still asking for a markup. Can I ask what you paid for yours? Was it over msrp? Cheers. Brian. Spokane Washington
I paid 57,800 out the door from Lithia Toyota in Billings MT. It came with running boards installed and some sort of paint protection added. I need to start driving it as it only has 4500 miles on it after a year and change. lol @@brianstauffacher
Am i the only person who loves the Toyota truck brand on looks performance etc. why would they not update their key fobs. It seems like a cheap change that can go along way. Wtf Toyota?? Its like they ordered way to many key fobs for the 1999 Camery and don’t want to waste them so your using the left over stock.
I am a big fan of the Tacoma yet find them Far to expensive. For just over $50K you get only a few upgrades like suspension and badging. Many will argue but a fair price for this truck in today’s market should be a max of $45K with all options. It’s just ridiculous how people buy them up like they are candy.
I bought a 22 Colorado Bison a few months back because I couldn’t find the trd pro Tacoma I wanted AND even though I like the Tacoma I fit better in the Colorado. My plan is to run the heck out of the ZR2 Bison through winter and see how she goes.
You've gotta be kidding me! I ordered (placed a deposit on) this exact truck from Tony Divino in Riverdale back in April. Here it is, almost halfway into December and I'm still waiting. Do you have ANY idea how Toyota is doing their allocations?
Did I here you say Ben Hardy- 270 hp??? My wife's A-spec RDX has more horse power. I will not "over look" as you say, the under powered V6. Will wait for turbo version 🤞
I'll take the 4x4 off-road all day has 95% of everything this truck has and it's $10,000 cheaper for the average person it'll do everything the pro will do... The shocks that are on the TRD off road are the same shocks that are on Nissan frontier pro 4X. Unless you're driving down a shitload of washboard roads those Bilstein shocks on the "off-road" are plenty good
Did I hear 990 pounds of payload?! You would max out the payload if you had 4 decent size passengers. Imagine spending that much money on a truck, that could barely haul your entire family. Small suv's have the same if not bigger payloads than that. Edit: The TRD Pro has a payload of 1100 pounds, which is still pretty darn bad. The 2wd 4 cylinder one has a payload of 1600 pounds which is more like it. But still, imagaine spending almost 50k for a midsize truck (TRD Pro) that has the same payload as small to mid size suv.
The best truck a money can buy is a honda Ridgeline The only thing tacoma can do better is off-road capability Gas miles ridgeline better, space ridgeline better, has a trunk on the bed, rear seats folds all the way , tailgate open both ways, It even smokes a tacoma on a race
Ridgeline can only do 50% of what Tacoma can do. How can you even compare them? With Tacoma, you can go to beautiful sites, offroad parks, overlanding, events, exploring... With Ridgeline, you can go buy some groceries; to each their own

Just bought a 2023 Tacoma Ted pro in mgm. Thanks
My magnetic grey 6MT will be here in a few weeks…..can’t wait!
Never thought I’d see a Taco over $50k but here we are.
I've seen them for $70k
@@crusherman96 the dealers who do that have a special place waiting for them
That’s mostly because of the TRD package. A 4x4 SR or SR5 is about $10,000 less.

Can’t wait for my Solar Octane. It was built earlier this week!
What was the process to order a new truck?

384 mile range wow. When I bought my 6 speed TRD pro it had 285 miles capacity in the fuel tank
I had the same issue until I disconnected my battery terminals when I was replacing my tweeters and it bumped up to 350mi +
Nice truck. Toyota should carry this grille design to the Tundra. I’m waiting for the return of the Dakota to compete with this and the Colorado. 👍🏾
I have the same truck ordered was supposed to be built today.

How much for mark-up ?
It is an absolute shame that they would treat a brand new $60,000 truck like this! I would not consider that a new truck now!

Change your playback speed to 0.75 if you want to hear what Ben Hardy would sound like if he were from the South.
Slow it down to .50 and he sounds like a drunk 😂
Tacomas definitely need to be re-geared because the gear ratio is atrocious but they're awesome vehicles overall.
Yeah, but YOU bought a Ranger didn't you?
Taking it back to its parking spot?lol you should probably be taking it to the wash bay!
