I have one starting in Uttar Pradesh and I have not even gotten there yet i starting with 1 teacher showed him love and joy then his students heard me speak then their parents ....i am told they are 10,000 strong waiting for me to make it there. And living more joyful as they wait.
I did energization techniques with Brother Baktananda at the Hollywood Sunset Temple when I was going to Sunday school there in the early 90's. I miss that place.
When I asked God why? He said because people believe that they do not need God. They say, "Look at what I have done! I am a success! I don't need God!." I asked when the financial difficulties would begin. God said, "It began with the financial difficulties in Greece." I tried bargaining with Him. I said, in the past, per the Old Testament, you have stopped our punishment if 1 man of God could be found. Well, I know at least 3. God replied, "It is too late. My judgement has begun." Then I cried and cried. I hurt so bad because of the tragedies which were to come. I asked God, "Do these punishments even work? Won't they just turn people against you?" There was no answer to this, He just withdrew His presence.
There is no God. Thats just word made up. Don't look at ur life thru churches, God and other limitations. You are the biggest power ever! And your subconscious mind is a "God" or whatever u wanna call it. As long as u eat healthy, stay strong, and take care of your body and your mind... rest is all Bullshit. Cause u are the only one who work and improve yourself, not some bearded man in the sky and if u ok, healthy and eat good and u watch how u cross the street lmao... u will be ok. There is no some force who works against u or some hell at the end of the road. That's all limitations.
God doesnt directly interact with us, Karma is our interactive guide, rewarder, and punisher. Karma is the collective energy of all spirits and represents the majority will of all the Spirits in all existence.
Great Swamiji. Bud i am wondering how they(in SRF) merge those hindu principles with christians principles? They are also talking and praying to Jesus. But i think the CORE of christian saints philosophy is to constantely maintan that tought in yourself that you are the GRATEST of all sinners. Me as a christian find it also a little bit toomuch.
Hey Bertonedes, if you didn't know, Swami Kriyananda passed in 2013, so he won't be able to answer your question. Anyways, I have never been to SRF myself (I'm part of Ananda), but perhaps I can try to answer your question. Yogananda said very firmly, "Do not call yourselves sinners anymore. Sin belongs to the past! It is no longer yours! God is yours. And the masters are yours." Check it out from the SRF bookstore (available online). That quote is from his talk, "Follow the path of Christ, Krishna and the Masters." He says many great truths with tremendous force in that talk. So I do not think SRF is teaching everyone they are sinners. Also, I do not think Jesus Christ taught us to think of ourselves as sinners. Yogananda may have referred to such an idea as "Churchianity". Jesus gave us the most important law: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:37-39). Jesus did not emphasize sin as much as the church. If you read the bible I think you will find that those who have been outcast or condemned by the public, by the government, or even by his 12 apostles, are the ones whom Jesus makes a point of loving. In other words, those who have been condemned by society as "sinners" are the ones Jesus went out of his way to love. After all, it was his own commandment to do so. And if we are all sinners, then it doesn't really make much sense to be full of love, and to love each other, and to receive love from others, or from Jesus. So forget sin. Sin is simply that you have erred, which we all have; but it is not your essence. Look up John 8:3-11, the woman who was caught in adultery, who was brought to Jesus for punishment. He forgives her, and tells her to sin no more. He acknowledges also that those who brought her before him also sinned. One may twist this reading to say that Jesus is calling us all sinners. But this is, as I say, a twist. Jesus acknowledges that we have sinned, but does not call us sinners. In other words, it is a simple fact that we have sinned, but he loves us and forgives us anyways, and gently teaches us how to live rightly. Because God knows we are his children. And if a child makes a mistake you do not send them to Hell, you love them and teach them that they can be more than their mistakes. I do not know if this was written in the Bible, but I know it is sometimes taught to those who 'worship' their sins: "Do you think your sin is greater than my love for you?" No, human sin is not greater than God's love, so how can you define yourself with your sins? Define yourself as a child of god, then you will know, as Yogananda said, "God is yours."
Can someone help me understand what he means by “a war going on in heaven right now”? What the heck does that mean? How is that possible. Isnt God bliss? Isn’t Satan/evil what pulls us away from heaven? Isnt God untouchable at that absolute level? Would really appreciate your thoughts.
@@dariofromthefuture3075 Swami ji talked about that even the best worlds (manifested) are causal worlds but even they are not perfect. A little less is Astral. There are many causal and astral worlds where people depending on their spiritual level go to. Then there is the unmanifested beyond the three worlds which is the ultimate goal, which is perfect.
@Greg E., I'm sorry but I would rather get my spiritual inspiration from the Ananda channel (which is full of beautiful spiritual inspiration) and from Swami Kriyananda rather than going by any random person's personal views. I'm sure you're a wonderful person but what I can gather from seeing your RUclips channel is that you heavily promote guns and firearms (with more than 60+ videos on them). It is the easiest thing in the world to cast aspersions about someone's integrity. Swami Kriyananda was a dedicated disciple of Yogananda for over 60 years, a great spiritual friend to many thousands around the world, and highly regarded by some of the most respected people in the world. The allegations you made about him in your comments above don't really have any basis in truth. Rumors and hearsay started by a few disgruntled people is what you're describing. Even the greatest Saints including Christ and Yogananda had self-styled enemies. That didn't make them any less of the spiritual giants they were. If you'd like to know the 'facts' of the matter you should do an in-depth study of the 12-year legal battle that Self-Realisation Fellowship launched against Ananda and Swami Kriyananda. Twelve years later, after an intense legal struggle, Ananda had won 95 percent of the issues in the case, setting an important legal precedent for other small groups that face legal attacks by bigger, jealous religious organizations. I'm sure you can find the details of the case in the public domain. There is also a groundbreaking book written by an attorney involved in the case that you could read to get the facts of the matter. Here's a link for the book on Amazon:
These small peaceful spiritual communities will need firearms to protect themselves from the swarms of angry wandering horded of destitute people. Guns are not inherently evil.

"Heaven" in this case means on the Astral (energy) plane and Causal (thought/consciousness) plane.
@@EastWestCenterSeattle Can you flesh this out for me a bit more? Are you saying the energy plane is at constant tension with the Causal? Thank you
