Swami gave his life to God,to his enlightened teacher-guru,Yogananda,the author of the great spiritual classic,"Autobiography of a Yogi",and to the work of starting successful spiritual communities and to giving help,hope and faith to all seekers in all lands through his many books,lectures and recorded talks on many important topics,the most important of all being to live a balanced,healthy life of virtue & learning the activity & art of deep,faithful meditation,prayer and advancing in ones spiritual life...thanks again
The idea of going in the country to live simply is the only way. How Kriyananda expresses this in his talks is so powerful. It makes me think of the movie " Children of Men" ... I would love to join ( an existing ) or be a part of setting up a community to do something to prepare for the times that are coming.
