Here, here, i second that. Bloody awesome. "If a truck falls in the desert and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound? of course is does, their bloody massive and made of metal"🤣🤣🤣
i am the opposite. between slang, fast speech full of weird comparisons and awful jokes, it’s really hard for me to follow and get the actual information. also he’s wasting a lot of time with it. english is not my first or second language. i can’t understand at least half of what he’s bloody talking about! if i wanted comedy i’d have tuned in to carlin or minchin instead.

@@EugeneYunak I can understand your side, but like he said in the previous episode, if you like some more serious highlights, watch it on your local telly. The highlighs here have always been on the funny side and more like just fans to fans as I remember. Cheers
i have to say: since dakar arrived in saudi, the level of helicopter pilots’ skyrocketed. theyre flying 10 meters above the dunes at high speeds, almost like a fpv drone. Bravo to all the pilots and camera operators
To dangerous for helicopters to do this, because of the change of air pressure from topography changes. You can lose lift instantly! Pilots are aware of this. The photography technology is absolutely amazing now! The shots are spectacular
Oh behaayve! You naughty commentator. That's obviously why I had wait for English language to be posted on RUclips, and it was well worth the wait ✋. Going to miss this Mr D.😉
I really think Sebastien Loeb is the greatest motorsports driver of all time. 9-time WRC champion (in a row, mind you), 4-time Race of Champions winner (where he beat Vettel and David Coulthard) and now wins 5 Dakar stages in a row. He did a test in F1 for Red Bull in 2008 and wanted to race in Formula One but didn't get a super license because of some moronic FIA rule.
The last 3 years hes failed but mostly because of bad luck moments that happen to everyone, mostly mechanical issues, which are beyond his control. The way I see it, Its only a matter of time before he wins the Dakar.
Loeb is the greatest rally driver there ever was. For circuit racing, I think Fernando Alonso is the greatest. Getting the best car is not a given, but he's pushed at the highest level in the fastest and hardest cars in the world for 20 years.
Another amazing thing that happened with this Dakar is the extended highlights! Post Dakar the commentator life would get changed because of his energy ! 🥳
7:15 Kino. Had to pause the video just to soak that. Man I wish Dakar promoters will do longer videos next year, these scenes are amazing. Especially soul-warming when it's cold and dark outside due to it being winter and all that.
These big money teams with all the help they give and have 🤔 It’s the little people that do it completely on their own with no help just there little red box of stuff they have 🤗 ARE THE REAL DAKAR’S And that’s what it’s all about 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Great images looks like tomorrow will be the day for the serious boys on the bikes to show what they really got. Be safe boys all of you, for those at the less glamorous end of the results look out for each other and get to the end.
I believe that this 12th Stage at the Dakar is doing well with those helicopter pilots for skyrocketing the race and all of our racers succeed it. Way to go!
8:46 if a truck falls in desert and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound? The answer had me laughing till I get cramps, that was brilliant!
The reason loeb kept winning because al attiyah didn't push to the limit because he don't want to take any risk because he already has the big lead already
The trucks doesn't seem to have that magic with Kamaz Master and MAZ not competing this year but still interesting, great coverage! Love the wit and humour.
"Austins powers, means he will become a goldmember of the dakar champions club" very sneaky little joke! Love the way you guys joke yourself through the commentary, keep up the good work!
I've travelled through barren places here in Australia and overseas. I LOVE sleeping in the desert night air. 💖👍 I LOATHE pompous 4 and 5 star places. YUK! 👎🤮 Excellent highlights. Hilarious commentary! 🤣 Come on Aussies! 😁 M 🦘🏏😎
This coverage has been fantastic. Every racing series needs a recap session like this.
100%
I have seen every extended highlights since stage 1 and I love your commentary. Have laughed out loud many times. Keep it up!

Just curious, who is the commentator?
@Lukáš Bárta lol, local telly doesn't have Dakar info. Where are you from that local television does?
i have to say: since dakar arrived in saudi, the level of helicopter pilots’ skyrocketed. theyre flying 10 meters above the dunes at high speeds, almost like a fpv drone. Bravo to all the pilots and camera operators
Zoom from a distance, lol
I will say zoom can only do so much when it comes to perspective
To dangerous for helicopters to do this, because of the change of air pressure from topography changes. You can lose lift instantly! Pilots are aware of this. The photography technology is absolutely amazing now! The shots are spectacular
And when the Australian FINKE race happens the coverage is so bloody poor. Hardly live updates and the coverages on racers is very limited.
Very much like a drone.....cuz dude its a drone alot of the time.
I've absolutely loved this coverage guys. Commentator is a star in the making! Cinematography epic!
These videos are a highlight of my day. Be very sad when the Dakar is over in a few days
The Dakar hangover is going to be epic this year.
Always. This and Le Mans, always over far too soon….🙏❤️
For real, but hopefully the other Rally Raid Events can deliver
I love seeing these competitors help each other!
Flying the 🇿🇦 with pride 👏 3 teams in top 10 overall, amazing work gents 🥳
I''d have a heart attack if I woke up and knew that stage 13 was starting soon..
Well done to Loeb, such a great recovery after that awful start
Dakar TV crew are making amazing job. Keep up the good job, only 2 days left!
More coverage of the trucks please!! They are a fish out of water out there. It's so amazing to see those monster vehicles tackle this terrain.
Finally this episode delivered some stunning images of the terrain, well done. C'mon Toby
Who is the commentator? Absolute legend!
Go Toby !! Consistency pays off !
Love the highlights. January is normally a tough month but Dakar makes me love it ❤

I don't know what fate would have been waited for him in F1 but I'm glad we have him in rallying. Absolute lagend of the marvelous sport
The last 3 years hes failed but mostly because of bad luck moments that happen to everyone, mostly mechanical issues, which are beyond his control.
The way I see it, Its only a matter of time before he wins the Dakar.

gotta love those highlights, waking up everyday waiting for the next one
Gotta say, love the narrator in this series. Kudos to you sir.
Best commentary ever! Can't wait for next highlights and new jokes!
Where can I see more of that commentator? He is just amazing! ❤️
The commentator of this Dakar... He is on point... Makes watching these highlight videos a pleasure... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣... Brilliant
Actual lol to the "Silent Truck" explanation 😂
I must say these highlights are quite impressive to watch. Great job from the media personnel.
Oh man, we are really going to miss the excellent commentary, great puns and continuous word play.
How about doing the F1 post-race videos?
Scenerie in the Desert is breathtaking. And the way how the Pilots find and ride their way throught it even more! 💪😍👌
7:15 Kino. Had to pause the video just to soak that. Man I wish Dakar promoters will do longer videos next year, these scenes are amazing. Especially soul-warming when it's cold and dark outside due to it being winter and all that.
I just love these daily extended highlights. If I read the comments.. I think nobody would mind if the final episode is twice as long 😁😉
Love the closing line
Quite wonderful and great to see Seb up there again. (He’s always happier up front! ) 😊😁
Another awesome stage wrap-up! Go Toby, Go Daniel!
Loeb is a monster. Amazes me how good offroad/rally he is
Absolutely enjoyed the coverage if this years Dakar. Shame it's almost over.
Love the concept of the marathon stage, really adds an extra sense of adventure to the rally.
Love the commentary the footage and the comradary.
The commentary is awesome

Best commentary yet. Behave.👏
If only Loeb could get some luck at Dakar. But to bounce back to 2nd place would be an incredible recovery.
I believe that this 12th Stage at the Dakar is doing well with those helicopter pilots for skyrocketing the race and all of our racers succeed it. Way to go!
More coverage of the trucks please. Other than that, the coverage is excellent.
Drive to Survive : Dakar
Needs to happen.
Bring it home Toby🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Loeb is a GOAT 🔥
Awesome stuff! Btw, what's the song at the start of the video? It goes so hard daamn
This commentator is exceptional!
whoooaaa that shot at 6:48 is incredible
Dang... Klien needs a mentor out there. Coming undone a bit.
I was at the Dakar the year Ari Vatenen got that 5 straight stage wins
in the Group B 205 Peugeot rocket
Whoever writes this deserves an Emmy
Nooo.. Muy triste va llegando a su final, este Maravilloso Dakar,
"If a truck falls in the desert and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?"
~ Dakar 2023 Commentry
Laughed out loud at this . Poetic, profound and hilarious all in one sentence!
great commentary as ever ;)
Commentary is still the best part
What a battle in bikes!! And what about Loeb? Such a terrific driver. Anyway, I love your highlights
GREAT to see the South Africans leading
thanks
buckled.....pure class. 😁
6:31 what a Boss!
Poetry, for sure
nice one!

Why isn't 4K
❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🚜 epic comments!
Love watching!
I will behave I promise .

Emil Zatopek ...BIG MEN from CZ
2:41 onwards;
"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?; IS THIS NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE?"
Loeb magnificent !
Lekker seeing the South Africans on the lists!
Niceee
Hopefully Loeb can win Dakar Sometime
En español????
Go Toby go
shot of the day had to be at 6:33....that's how you surf a dune...
Skylers got be a winner with those handle bars under his nose
Another tiring day on Dakar @_@
🔥🔥
ГДЕ KAMAZ?
I wonder how they deal with the sandworms out there in the dunes.
thumpers
😕 mason is dropping off the board, no doubt that injured wrist isn’t helping. Next one mason 🤟🏻
hmm, he knows Emil Zatopek... nice
🇿🇦👍🏻
I've travelled through barren places here in Australia and overseas. I LOVE sleeping in the desert night air. 💖👍 I LOATHE pompous 4 and 5 star places. YUK! 👎🤮
Excellent highlights. Hilarious commentary! 🤣
Come on Aussies! 😁
M 🦘🏏😎
Too bad they don't show the french guy who almost burned to death under his bike, hardcore dakar stuff
On one with the jokes today! hahaha
OH BEHAVE!
Pop a wheelie while flat out on sand....hold my beer.
All are Tigers
Why does this videos quality look so bad compared to the others?
8:45 lol
better late than never
DAKAR lost a lot without KAMAZ and MAZ factory teams
I think Dakar lost a lot when DAF trucks left in the 80’s.
What the fuck was he trying to pull with the tow strap? LOlL
Hard to follow through all the comedic analogies. Seems like the reporter is rather burned out near the end of the race.
Imagine how bad your country must be for them to move the race to Saudi Arabia… what a dumpster fire
Toby price will win the Dakar this year and retire
